Really lovely and authentic Chinese tea room! The price is a bit high, but it's the real thing, from taste to tradition.

My partner booked a tea ceremony for her and myself as a birthday present for me. We were really looking forward to the experience as it's been something we've wanted to do for ages. On the scheduled day, we arrived 10 minutes early to find the place closed and looking rather messy. We waited 5 minutes and then I called their number to clarify what was happening. The woman who answered sounded very surprised at the fact that we we're waiting outside (she obviously forgot). Despite this, she seemed completely indifferent and proceeded to nonchalantly ask us if we wanted to rebook. The answer was no. We planned our entire day off around this experience and wasted hours of our limited free time. I understand that people make mistakes, but a certain level of professionalism and customer service is to expected. If we we're offered a sincere apology or some type of concession we would have happily rebooked. But the utter indifference of the owner (?) at wasting our time leaves us with no intention of supporting this place in the future. You'd think independent businessess would be grateful for business during a pandemic, but apparently not.

One of the best introductions to the world of Chinese tea, and the various methods of brewing all the different types available. Would definitely recommend making an appointment and enjoy a tasting!Heddy is the perfect hostess, who bears extensive knowledge due to spending a lot of time in China meeting growers and producers and ensuring the products sourced are of very high quality.A good selection of teas and tea making equipment is also available for purchase although there was no pressure to buy!

Peculiar, curious find. Tiny little shop without any of the pretentions of being a shop. Just some tea, lying about. A couple of tables and a host who will have trees with you. Certainly an experience
