Overstone Manor - Pub & Carvery
Lovely Green King Pub, can't believe I've tried a few other ones and only just tried this one. The location is lovely with a garden area covered with patio and little park for kids. Lots of green space with plenty of tables. Ordered using our phones, which did take a while even though it was very quiet. The staff member brought the food and knew we had ordered our drinks and brought them out after but apologised for the wait. (Normally drinks are brought out first and fast). Good menu and good prices. Friendly staff. Would return again and would have given 5 stars if the service was a little quicker.

My partner and I have tried just about all the carveries in the area, but we don’t search around any more.The staff, eating areas, but most of all the food at Overstone Manor is excellent.It is, in our opinion, the best carvery resteraunt around, despite being one of the cheapest!We can even take our (well behaved) dog, as long as you dine in the hard floor area.We have just returned from yet another lovely midweek carvery meal. A small plate, ( more than enough for my partner), and a standard plate for myself was less than £15!Great service, great value, great food.Why go any where else!

This is now our favourite place for a carvery. Great meal once again and everything hot and fresh on a Sunday evening. Stayed chatting to friends for 3 hours and no one rushed us to move on. Indulged in a sticky toffee pudding and it was great and a large portion. Looking forward to Christmas menu with a large group next week

Overstone Manor - Pub & Carvery
We decided on the spur of the moment to go out for lunch. What a pleasant surprise! We were able to take our dog with us and received a very warm welcome. Our carvery meal for two of us cost just less than £15 in total with a selection of the meats and a Yorkshire pudding as well as an amazing selection of vegetables. Too many to mention. If you want an affordably priced delicious meal within a pleasant atmosphere this is the place to go.

Carvery looked quite nice for a lunch but saw the All-Day breakfast on menu, it read well and who doesn’t like a lovely breakfast.Only problem is, this wasn’t a lovely breakfast. Bread had been defrosted until hard but anaemic in a toaster, with small dab of cheap margarine, yuck!Beans overcooked and tasteless, bacon chewy, sausages & hash brown ok.Frankly, awful and no one with cooking skills would have produced this.As with everything there, payment taken before food/service delivered so no point complaining, just avoid!!

We were a party of four and had the carvery as our meal to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was fairly quiet as we ate at lunch time and the food was good and plentiful.After we'd eaten we took our drinks over to the bar area and sat by the window to chat.It was a nice atmosphere in the whole of the pub and the staff were friendly. The friend who's birthday it was hadn't visited Overstone Manor before and she was very impressed.We always find the carvery is good value for money and this pub is a nice place to bring friends.

Overstone Mannor has just hosted our annual family Christmas party of 30 guests 2023. We were in the Green Room which was decorated beautifully with an open fire and our names on place settlings, with what we pre ordered from the festive menu, printed on the back to make service easy. Appreciated!!!The staff were very organised and coped well with all our requests with a friendly and professional demeanour all day.Thank you so so much to all the wonderful staff and manager Matt for all the effort you made to ensure we all had a fantastic and festive Christmas party at the Overstone Manor!

Overstone Manor - Pub & Carvery
The pub that just keeps giving! This family and group friendly spot is simply wonderful. We came across it in passing and stopped for a drink outside on a sunny day. There are good sized private event rooms, a carvery with 3 meat options, a massive and varied food / drinks menu, ample seating indoors / outdoors and don’t don’t get me started on the extras! The staff are really helpful and friendly. There’s outdoor play equipment for children, a soft play, pool table, BBQ food and SO MUCH MORE! A win win for everyone.
