Frederick Tailoring

I have visited Frederick many times, always with great results. I struggle to find clothes that fit off the shelf, so I frequently buy clothes too big, to have them tailored by Frederick.He is always fantastically friendly, and his service is fast, reasonably priced and high quality.He's altered a significant proportion of my wardrobe and I hope things will remain this way!

I asked Frederic to tailor two dresses. The craftsmanship was not good and there were broken stitches, uneven hemming and clear jagged edges of what was supposed to be the finished hem - picture attached. He tried to convince me this was “how the dress came” and yelled at me when I wanted to leave to take my dresses elsewhere. I ended up leaving and having to get my twos gowns retailered.In response to the owner: The picture speaks for itself - I paid £180 for the alterations that turned out horribly; blaming me, the fabric, the dress, and my attitude when I expressed discontent really does show his true colors. Frederic has done everything except take accountability for his own work. Very dissapointed, won't be coming back.

I took my leather jacket to Frederick as my inner lining, all pockets and zipper were all severely damaged. I knew quality tailoring is not cheap.Frederick showed me different options and keep the cost down but still get a great result.Extremely satisfied with Frederick's work

Great service. He hemes my spots perfectly and got them done on the spot and gave good feedback on length. I went a bit shorter and he left some material so I could lengthen them if I wanted but you could not tell at all.

Frederick is a great tailor. He works well and works very fast, he is very patient and always does his very best to meet your demands. His prices are very reasonable and he is extremely hard working - will keep at it until you the customer are satisfied. He is also a joy to be around, always kind, gracious and personable. Would definitely recommend!

Bought a vintage Harris Tweed jacket on Portobello Road, and within two hours Frederick Tailoring had mended a hole in the shoulder, sewn a button back on, and had me on the road again. Professional, fast, and at a very reasonable price!
