Beautiful place to admire the scenery. Just a shame about the rubbish people leave behind. Once the Birdlip bypass is complete I'm sure it will be even nicer with all the traffic noise gone.

Large free carpark, great views over to Wales. Disabled parking, no toilets or cafe. Cotswold trail goes for miles, best to go left or you have to cross the A417! Rough paths up and down hills, grass fields and woods. Can be livestock but they didn't bother our dog. Busy at night due to other activities, allegedly! Toilets and cafe in Crickley Hill Country Park to the right across the A417 where you pay parking and pick up the trail again.

Driven up the hill so many times but finally stopped to look at the Viewpoint. You can see a very long way. Seems popular with dog walkers. No facilities.

Cinderford Rusty Pole was a much better viewpoint. Better off driving to Cinderford Rusty Pole in the Forest of Dean not much further to drive from Gloucester.

Absolutely love it here, the views are outstanding you can see Robinswood Hill and as far as Wales. Plenty of parking nice for walking, picnics. This is off the main road to Cirencester and old road from Gloucester and Stroud. The roads either way are also lovely with scenery and views.Definitely worth a visit
