He came in person a few days later to discuss how we can solve it and that alone gave me a hope that maybe we can have a nice floor after all!Ambience Flooring assessed the situation and proposed to restore the floor and give it a protecting coat of oil and agreed to cover the costs associated with it.And they kept their word!Their contractor did turn up and not only restored the floor to its original colour, but also helped us to move all the furniture around as well as tried his best to work around our schedule as it's not the easiest to restore the floor whilst living in the house with a 1 year old baby.I must say Chris from Ambience Flooring did his utmost best to rectify the issue which was caused by a manufacturer of the flooring boards which he was very apologetic for.In addition we also received free Bona cleaner bottles as well as few wooden trims to finish off the floor that I forgot to order, Chris provided them as a gesture of goodwill, free of charge.It's safe to say we are now satisfied and happy customers, who start enjoying their new floor.Would definitely use these guys again in the future.ORIGINAL:Disappointed customers here. We bought Brushed & Invisible Oiled Oak engineered wood flooring from this company in summer 2022 for roughly £5k. Installed the first 40 sq. metres immediately and the rest later on in the year as it is now in the whole house.We loved the product to start with and not going to lie, the guy who we spoke to in the showroom (tall with glasses) was also extremely helpful with a great attitude and didn't push us just to buy it only to get the sale through.However after we installed the product we were honestly disappointed to say the least. Anything that we spill or drop on the floor leaves the stain immediately. Literally soaks into the wood. It looks like it wasn't oiled at all as if it was oiled it would have never happened. Although we tried to mop it specifically with what was recommended in store (Bona), the result is still the same. Staines after everything dropped on the floor.After we went back to the store to ask for advice as to why it isn't oiled we were only given a card for some guy that specialises in restoring the wooden floor. I mean it's not ideal we should be restoring a floor that was only recently installed right?Had we known this would occur, we'd never decide to purchase the invisible or shall I say non existing oiled flooring.Please see photos for evidence.

Genuinely great service.I bought two tubs of bona floor adhesive (significantly cheaper than every other store and no delivery charge).Unfortunately, even though they were well packaged, one had been damaged in transit. I discovered this on opening the box three days after delivery.I messaged the company on Sunday and a replacement tub was delivered Tuesday.

Recently, I received my Karndean Clean 1 solution. I found this company via a Google search and, frankly, took a bit of a punt as they were a few pounds cheaper than Amazon.From start to finish, I have been absolutely delighted with the service. The emails, tracking and packaging and all elements of the whole process have been first rate. I know it's hardly the sale of the century, but I don't often come across companies that seem to really value the customer that much any more. Ambience Hardwood Flooring clearly do.I most certainly and highly recommend them.

Great customer service, everyone I spoke to on the phone was friendly and helpful. I was kept up to date with the order delivery status and everything arrived on time. Definitely would use again.

These guys provide excellent customer service- through from advice on choosing, installing and any issues following up. Great correspondence re. delivery. Thoroughly pleased with my purchase (open plan lounge/dining room) herringbone parquet. Excellent quality. For such a big project (for me!) it was reassuring to have someone honest and reliable to deal with. Will definitely recommend.

Really helpful staff, great choice of wood flooring

Bought from here a couple of times now, the service is very respectable and the products are on point. Each time I’ve had at least a dozen samples in from competitors and they’ve not come even remotely close in terms of quality and finish. These guys will definitely be my first port of call now when I’m looking for wood flooring so would certainly recommend to others.

Very helpful staff with a rich choice of products. Aaron is particularly knowledgeable, saved me hours of work and an ear- bashing from the boss!

Excellent service! I am rare on reviews but these guys deserve a good one. Very well organised and customer orientated business. Had some issues with my order due to currier but Ambience Hardwood Flooring did everything to resolve it in a very short time and kept me well updated. A business lake that desrves a big respect nowadays.
