Can confirm that our experiences from initial visit from Mike the Salesperson, Mark the Surveyor and then Alex the Fitter have been brilliant. Even had an electrician visit to check everything out before installation too. Work goes beyond just taking out and putting in a new shower where the bath bath was in a day". Assistive Bathing have been marvellous from designing to installation. The salesman, surveyor, fitter and customer service lady were friendly and extremely knowledgable. This made our purchase experience so much easier. Well done Assistive Bathing our bathroom looks amazing and the selected products are robust and more than fit for purpose just as stated in the brochure.I would highly recommend this company to anybody requiring anything to assist their specific needs. We accept others may have had better experiences, but we are currently unsuccessfully trying to appeal to Assistive Bathing to find a solution after my very frail 86-year-old mum has spent £10,000 on a shower installation which she can't use. The problem is an excessively noisy waste pump, which she can't live with and neither can her downstairs neighbours. Assistive Bathing insist that they cannot offer a solution and my mother agreed to the waste pump and signed off the installation. This is playing on her vulnerability, because no-one would accept a shower making this kind of noise, and signing that she recognised it would make 'a noise' when resetting is not truthfully presenting what she would have to live with. She rang and registered her concern after the first time of using it. One of their surveyors made a visit, and whatever he has reported back since, he was clearly not happy with the noise himself and the fact that he couldn't recalibrate it to be less of a problem. We're now taking this to the next level, but I would urge anyone thinking about using this company, or have an elderly relative who is, to avoid Assistive Bathing. Don't make the same mistake my mother did of putting her trust in them. I am really worried that they are playing on the vulnerabilities of older people with an inferior service - at least from this experience - and all we can do by writing this review is hope to save another family from a very distressing experience and waste of any hard-earned savings.

I would highly recommend Assistive Bathing. My new shower arrived on time and although there was a crack in the shower tray, another was quickly sourced and fitted on the time scheduled. The fitters were very efficient and nothing was any trouble. Very polite and kept all areas clean. All rubbish was removed the day after completion by a local cleaning company. Absolutely delighted with my new shower.

The service of assisted bathing from the salesman, surveyor, people on the other end of the phone and of course the fitter Catalin was more than exellent we couldn’t of asked for a more professional job done by catalin he is a credit to the company, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anybody else thank you for such an excellent job done .

I don't normally write reviews however, in this case I feel so let down by this company that I wanted to share my findings. To assist my 86yr old father to carry on living independently I requested a quote from Assistive Bathing for his bathroom. Stuart attended, answered all our questions and we found the quality of the products to a high standard. Although not the cheapest, my father decided, after a while, to go ahead with the quotation having spoken to Jackie (office) and managing to secure a further discount. We gave a deposit at the time of accepting quotation, some £2,700 and expected a call from a surveyor. 7 days later still waiting for this call, so I called them and surveyor visit was arranged. Surveyor arrived, lovely man called Doug but unfortunately his drawings did not match what had been agreed for the bathroom. I requested that he call the office before going ahead as I wanted to clarify that everything that had been agreed with Jackie would be included in the price given. Overheard conversation via loudspeaker from his manager, 'No, no not happening,' to which Doug took the remainder of call away from earshot. Doug returned few minutes later and said his manager had told him to go ahead with the survey and he would, in his words, sort it out with the Sales Team. I informed Doug that we would not be giving a further deposit at this stage until everything had been sorted. At this point having carried out the survey we were informed that we would not need a pump, (cost of £1000 as quoted by Stuart). This was Thursday and following Tuesday still awaiting call from them to clarify situation and price, so again I rang them and therein followed several calls, to be told they would uphold the price given, but I questioned this as we didn't now require the pump as per surveyor's comments. No compromise given at all, stating the price would be the same, so the pump would offset the discount already given. How is this fair and also begs the question, were we told didn't need pump to offset the original agreed price. Hence, we cancelled as I was of the opinion if they could do this to my father at this stage, what would happen if the fitting was faulty etc., etc. Spoke to Matthew Jones Sales Director to confirm said cancellation to be informed, 'You can have a full refund minus £250 for the survey,' I argued with him as I felt this unfair given I had stopped the survey until such time as the price was agreed, to no avail. So my poor father has had to pay £250 for what !!! We are left with a very bitter experience and am wary now of using big companies such as Assistive Bathing, please be careful before signing up and paying deposit.

My previous bath has been removed and a Caspian walk-in shower instaIled. I was most surprised at the speed in which the visits and installation were arranged and completed. I have been pleasantly impressed and satisfied with the whole process and with the help I have received from Harry and Jim during the original inspection, the survey and installation. Jim removed the bath and fitted the new shower brilliantly. He explained the whole process, at no time inconvenienced me and completed the project within the estimated time scale. The quality of the shower is of the highest standard. I have no hesitation in recommending Assistive Bathing for such an installation.
