Food is always very good but service is a bit on the slow side, but worth the wait for you meal. Ambience was ok, staff are always friendly and polite. We went on a Friday evening and became very busy by9pm. Track and trace was in operation during to the current Covid 19 implementations, hand sanitizer on entry and every other table was in use. Highly recommended.

Always wanted to try it out and it didn't fail at all. Top place to go for a tasty sit down meal and recommended curry restaurant.

This is my favourite Indian restaurant in the Portsmouth area by far! Absolutely wonderful service, always friendly and the food is superb every time. Well done to all at Spice Village, you are a credit and well worthy of 5 + Stars ⭐️

Food is average, service is too low.Meet is not Halal, seafood is below average.I think the owner has to work hard, and to be honest when writing Halal food.

Service slow not very friendly every dish bland tasted the same bhaji so dry and pakuras too dry ...waited hours for food

Average food. Terrible service.We were served by multiple staff, none of whom knew what each other had done, i.e. orders taken and who had delivered which dishes to our table. No staff even managed eye contact, let alone spoke to us (other than to take the order). They pretty much threw our food on the table, leaving me to make room, and to top it off, they began to hoover the restaurant, ready to close up while we were still eating. Avoid.
