Friendly staff and nice cinema! Only issue was the projector in our screen (screen 1) was very obviously misaligned in the upper left portion of the screen. For an animated movie, this stood out and made text on around 1/3 of the screen basically unreadable.Googling it looks like maybe it’s a calibration issue as Dolby Cinema uses dual projectors - just as a heads up because it’s hard to not notice something like that once you’ve seen it :/

We got our Odeon Limitless membership when moving to Edinburgh and Fort Kinnaird is our closest Odeon. We have visited this cinema almost 30 times in the first year. The cinema is located in close proximity to all the restaurants in Fort Kinnaird so you can have dinner there and then come for a movie afterwards. For us, it is the ideal regular date night and we can definitely recommend the limitless membership for that purpose. Without the membership, we only went to see movies we really wanted to see but still went quite often, but with the membership we found ourselves watching movies we otherwise wouldn’t and so far we only regretted seeing one movie (Babylon). The staff at Odeon Fort Kinnaird have been super friendly and helpful on every occasion. If you pay attention to the name tags you can see the favourite movie of the member you are talking to, which is a lovely little detail. They even got the manager out to advise us when we had some trouble renewing our membership this year. We didn’t even ask for the help, they just wanted to help us as best as they could once we mentioned it.We typically book our tickets on the app before arriving which works well, although we did struggle adding our cards at first. You can also order on the screens at the entrance, which is card payment only. If you want to pay cash, or with a voucher, you should go to the till. The service is usually very quick - the only exception was at Barbenheimer weekend, but that was mainly the fault of people not listening to their order number being called out, not the staff’s fault. The bathrooms and screens are always clean, no matter how busy it is. The only criticism we have for this cinema is the fact that it still has the old seats and not the new recliners. If we move within Edinburgh and surroundings we might choose the Edinburgh West Odeon instead, but would probably come back to Fort Kinnaird if the seats are updated, as we really love this cinema and are even recognised by the staff at this stage.

The queuing ordering system is an utter shambles! Plenty of staff who just appear to be extremely badly managed. The foyer is utter chaos and its not overly busy. About a 45 minute wait to get 2 small sweet popcorns and 2 drinks. It's a disgrace

This Cinema is on my doorstep and I'd rather commute to The Vue at Ocean Terminal because it's a far better cinema. Odeon is overpriced, the seats are extremely standard and as far as options on what to go see, they're limited in what films they show and even more limited on available times.

You kids unaccompanied were running riot in the cinema. The film was interrupted several times while staff warned them to wind it in until they were eventually asked to leave. With that said, the cinema itself is great and staff are helpful.

Smashing venue. Clean and inviting. We watched Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 - excellent film. We were in cinema5 and the film extended along the walls left and right. We got used to it no problem. We were in row K, soft seats lots of legroom. Friendly service and plenty of food and drink on offer including alcohol. Plenty of parking space as well. We will return.

Great location, theatre area was warm and comfortable, price a bit steep. Sadly excessive noise comes through from film being shown next door
