BMW Mini Gearbox Replacement

Had a replacement gearbox fitted today in a little under two hours would’ve been a lot quicker but I was talking to the mechanic. Excellent service and unlimited knowledge on minis would highly recommend their services to anyone who owns a mini anywhere in the world.

I bought in january 2020 a gearbox by email with invoice" to be paid. I received due to (my) mistake the wrong type. We agreed with seller to send it back but i did not recieve any news afterwards or other gearbox. Seller does not respond to email or phone.... lost €850 to this fraud."

I have got 17 years old Mini One and my gearbox broke almost 2 months ago.I called to this company and i was impressed how quick they react. I told them what is going on with gearbox, how gears pops out and they already knew what is wrong with it. Very nice lady told me I can bring mini in the same day and they will swap gear box as they have one in stock. Hour later i came in to the garage, and as soon as i drove in the mechanic started work on it. The other gentlemen gave me keys for replacement car so i could go back to work. 2 hours later they called that work is done and I can come back and pick up my car. I could pay by PayPal which is huge convenience.At first gear were working tough, but at the moment everything is working smoothly and nice :)Thank you for gave Mini Ethel another life ;D

Popped in quote, however they fitted my wife's mini in there and then. Friendly staff, great service and good price... If you are looking for knowledgeable mechanics who know their mini's you won't go wrong here... Will most definitely be using them again in the future...

Visited here about 4 years ago to have the gearbox changed on my mini. Best service I have ever received, seriously inspiring how the man is running his business.Very knowledgable and reliable repairs carried out. Would highly recommend!It was a pleasure driving up from Portsmouth and visiting.

Had 2 gearboxes fitted here and both judder in first and reverse, couldn't be bothered to go back a third time car was amazing to drive before the gearbox change only had gearbox changed as my cooper had high miles. Wish I hadn't bothered now and would never use again or recommend this company.

1st class service. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They drop you in town and pick you up 2 hrs later in our case (clutch) 90 mins later. John Tee has to be the most knowledgeable person we've ever come across in the MINI community. Since using this company we would never use anyone else.

Great service and at a great price. I drove from Birmingham to get my mini gearbox looked at. They diagnosed the gearbox failure straight away and replaced the gearbox and clutch within 2 hours.The owner John Tee and his team have a fantastic reputation for mini gearbox and engine repairs which is why I decided to go there. Aside from their technical expertise they are lovely honest people which probably helps to explain why they have been so successfull.

I had my mini repared here. The gearbox, clutch and alternator were changed for a very good price. Gearbox was changed in less then 3 hours without apointment.I really recommend you this garage. Everyone is very nice, very profesional. And very arranging.
