Zelf Removals

DO NOT use this firm for removals! Vehicles not large enough to move you as requested, property damaged, property ‘missing’ that allegedly can’t be accounted for. Absolute cowboys with unprofessional managers (as described by one of their staff). Not even worthy of 1 star. AVOID this firm at all costs! Absolutely worst service ever.

Booked a van through their online system 4 months in advance. I phoned to double-check the booking a couple of weeks beforehand to be told they were closed on the Monday and I've have to return the van a day later and pay for the additional amount.I explained this was their mistake, as their system let me book on that day, and their team didn't notice the mistake, I was the one who checked in. The manager gave one word answers and told me I could pay the additional amount or cancel the booking. He couldn't have been more obstructive or rude if he tried.Astonished by how poor customer service was, I cancelled the booking and found a much cheaper and more professional company.

I have been trying to contact this company for the last 5 days leaving either answer phone messages or with reception to get a removal quote - no response. Won’t be using Zelf.

Moving house is by definition a difficult time. Our experience with Zelf packing and moving house was appalling. Staff were poorly trained and with low morale which resulted in damage to our belongings. A visit from Zelf management afterwards resulted in an insincere apology for how we “felt”. I would not recommend them for house moves.

Great price on SUV hire for a recent holiday. Good service

Brilliant service, they arrived on time and were professional throughout. We have a very heavy piano which I was concerned about moving as it weighs a ton however it was moved and loaded onto the van with no problems at all. Will be recommending you in the future.

Really unhelpful. .The gentleman didn't get up from his seat. Pricing on website incorrect and discount for multiple buys no longer counts. Didn't honour prices.Got my purchases home and found they were not the sizes displayed. Probably incorrectly charged because of this. Normally I would say shop local. Buy online better value and service!
