One of the nicest places we have ever been.Booked a table over the phone for 4 adults, 1 dog and a 2 month old 30 min before arriving.Couldn't fault a single thing. The food was lovely even a small meal and water for our dog. We were well taken care of.Thank you so much :)

Excellent service and atmosphere. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Our food was a bit salty and when we were asked how food was, we fed it back and the manager swiftly came to speak to us. He thinks it’s the gravy and he appreciated our comment. He offered to give us other food but we were too full. He offered us some free drinks instead which was exceptional customer service!

Great traditional pub with roaring fire and dog friendly. It feels a bit as if no-one is in charge or keeping an eye on the fine details though. Staff pretty scruffy (stained sweatshirts etc), food pleasant but at times disappointing (calamari) and booking process a bit hit and miss. Oodles of potential and great for laid back vibe.

We had a gathering for 8 adults and 6 children in the side room. Good for children but a bit Dark. The roast dinner was not the best. Served up nicely but the roast potatoes were pale and there was not much meat.The service staff were lovely and helpful. The rest of the pub looked great

Really disappointed..The presentation of food is good but taste is not up to the mark .My kids burger was really dry and not taste good. I am not happy with the service as well. We ask a menu card to keep in our table and she said 'For What ?No cleanliness!! Especially in the toilet.I felt like I am in a housefly world.There is full of houseflies in dine in area.The cup they served to us is not cleaned properly.

Fantastic country pub, very friendly, with loads of character. The menu is fancy however the execution was not. The chicken was dry, the pasta had raw veg in and the lamb was alright not wonderful. Got served my drink in dirty glass ... I think they had just taken it off a kid to use for my vodka.

Very enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, kitchen staff were kept busy but seemed to take it all in their stride. Will definitely visit again.
