Skoda Suberb Hatch L+K Purchased car from Citygate ŠKODA (Watford) August 2023Got my third Skoda Supurb back in August and I’ve got to say it the best -Thanks to Daniel - Manager and Sinead Blackmore - Sales ExecutiveI missed opportunity of filling out skoda's survey of my experience however I wanted to say how courteous, patient they both were, listening to our needs. Personable, friendly and overall strived to get us a great deal. Great experience.

A month with our new car and it's been fantastic. Loads of space and very comfortable to drive. Sinead was very helpful in getting us a finance package that worked for us. A cake was a very nice touch too!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, who know their stuff indeed !Very warm and welcoming approach and comfortable environment where one is not felt intimidated while making a car choice and the decision is sometimes taxing, confusing and stressful but these people try to help to the best of their ability and and a step further beyond !Like to Mei 3 person, Romy, Lullia and of course the Boss Man Mandy/Mandeep !

Extremely poor service, managing expectations and understanding the impact their incompetence have on customer plans. I am writing this review for 3 people, myself and two colleagues. All of us were given approximate delivery dates of 3 to 6 months, and 13 months later, there were no news of ETA. What makes the experience worst is how pushed and continuous the sales calls and emails were when taking orders, at least 3 times a day, simply to get the deposit and order, but absolutely no follow up updates, even though the documents states an ETA. My two colleagues opted for used cars after waiting few months. But I have had to cancel my order after 13 months and placed an order elsewhere with guaranteed delivery, given the poor experience here, I have had to push the new supplier for written confirmation of guaranteed delivery and regular updates. The lack of after-sale communication over 13 months should be an embarrassment for Citygate Skoda Watford #citygateskoda it will be for any professional!!’The poor follow ups even after I informed the dealership of the circumstance resulted in both financial loss and a lot of stress in negotiating extension of my existing car on 3 different occasions over the past year, simply waiting for Skoda to inform me of an expected delivery date.Consumer Duty was brought in to avoid this kind of poor misleading behaviour from retailers.To avoid others having poor and misleading sales and service, I strongly suggest that the principles and the outcomes of Consumer Duty is reviewed and installed in front of shop and customer facing staff.This messages has been sent to Skoda U.K. CfO and managing director via direct emails separately.

All the staff, especially Sinead and Romy were extremely kind and accommodating. They helped with all my questions promptly and gave me a great deal on my new Skoda. Can't recommend them enough!

The sales staff are fine.Service area at the moment is awful. The call centre approach doesn't seem to be working. Booked my car for an MOT told to bring it in at 9:30 also received a text saying it was booked for 14:40. Nobody contacted me on that day and the phone was unanswered on 3 occasions. On the following day I had to ask one of the sales team to walk to service to find out what had happened to my car. So took two days to get an MOT.

Great team here at citygate. Paulo helped me pick the right car, walked through all the features and conducted a thorough test drive also. Couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided. Did not take me long to decide and purchase the car. Highly recommend
