To pacify your minds and heart and know more on Hinduism, this place is a must visit. I went last week and got to meet many people as well as had the opportunity to have a delicious Indian meal for free. Also, a helpful lady at the temple dropped me home as it was late and I didn't know where to get a bus.

Very devotional and tranquil atmosphere. Live soul stirring bhajans. Devoted volunteers worked hard to prepare awesome Bhandara after the Navratri Pooja.

Here the Gods are only in their shrine not inside the humans. I am a Hindu and I came to Nottingham 2days before, and I am struggling like hell finding an accomodation, because it's bank holidays for two days. So, I have requested them shelter not even food for only tonight, but they behave with me like a dog. Previously I had stayed in gurudwara for 7days, and they treated with me like I'm at home. And the treatment that I got from my religion is really so inhumane that after being kicked out of the gate I was crying like anything. Till today I was so proud of being a Hindu, I used to fight with people, who says against Hinduism. But now I know maybe all are Hindus but not the Nottingham Temple people.

One of the best place to worship hindu religion. And even celebrates all cultural festivals.

The temple is beautiful from inside and out. I went for the aarati and it was a truly uplifting experience. The atmosphere was serene, and the aarati was beautifully conducted.

I visited on a weekday and after trying to get someone's attention saying I was new was shown the seating area in the shrine room and not spoken to again. I respectfully observed and then left, only aware that there are yoga classes and temple opening times. It's not very apparent by information in the building, by website, or by greeting in person how and what rhythm and timing 'services' to participate take place. I'm wondering how to become more involved and despite trying to haven't found it very accessible.
