Crook o Lune Public Bridge
It's a very old stone bridge. Probably 17th century. It's in a very quiet spot considering it's proximity to the M6. It's also quite beautiful. I wouldn't advise going anywhere near with a large vehicle. I have memories from 30 years ago of someone trying to get an estate car across. It was very tight. Today's large SUV's may struggle too.

Beautiful place with walks stretching all around it. These can be enjoyed by the elderly, disabled, young and adventurers. Car park is available at only £1. Toilets free to use but woodys cabin for snacks and drinks only open certain days and times

Absolutely beautiful place - we initially stopped for a cuppa at Woodies but, not knowing the area then explored the foot paths. Lovely
