Bowland Beer Hall at Holmes Mill
Firstly, the star rating is purely about the food in the beer hall. Secondly, the whole place is a fantastic set up and has been done so well. The beer hall is a sight to behold with top staff. Not a bitter/ale fan but whatever your taste, there is something for everyone, selection is huge. The farm shop is fab and we are going back to stay at the hotel at some point. Returning to the food, it was average I'm afraid, the sandwich wasn't great and the cheese and onion pie seemed microwaved...filling was divine but the pastry shouldn't be floppy, you can't get that in an oven ( point to note, i bought 3 of the same pies from the farm shop before eating and if they turn out like that, i will edit this review). Now, to the Chip and Gravy Chef, absolutely bang on...no complaints.

This was a works outing for Christmas. The atmosphere was quite relaxed but bar staff were well versed in all the available beers. The food was excellent and portions large. The hall has a distinctly rustic feel but is very welcoming. We had a good night!

Very busy staff coping well. Had to wait for food but it was worth it. Great choice of drinks/ beers. Friendly attentive staff knowledgeable about their products. Great place for families and a meet up place for friends/relatives. Various options within the wider complex

Huge selection of beers across the 42 taps. Beer from their own brewery plus other local brews and craft beers from further afield. When we went there was a promotion and many beers were half price. Two flights only cost £10.50! You can also take beer from the brewery and enjoy with good from the food hall.

We were recommended to visit by Nettletons jewelers and it didn't disappoint at allWe found a close by car parking spot making for an easy walk to the beer hall.We were served quickly and efficiently and on-site brewed lager is to die for!Food order was quickly taken and the food when it arrived was mountainous. No half measures there chef!Old mill atmosphere works well and we'd probably visit again next time we're in Clitheroe.

This is a destination brewery tap and a Clitheroe must visit. Large former mill conversion for an all round experience. Leave your grateful other half in the beer hall with 40+beers and ciders while you browse the food and gift hall next door.

Large beer hall and eating tables in an old industrial complex. Good atmosphere, with some of the old machinery left over from days gone by. Food middling, beer fine. We had chilli brisket beef, but to be honest the main ingredient was onion. It was more like a veggie chilli, but it was ok.

Food tastes fantastic and drinks were served quickly.Table service for food was fantastic, Tracey was incredibly kind and patient. Service in the lounge bar next door was not on the same level. One guy was very sharp with one of our group and bar staff seemed very inexperienced.
