We turned up a bit late but Ali was there to show us the ropes and got us on the water quickly and seamlessly. She even recommended the best pubs with pontoons on the river! Me and my two friends had the best time, would highly recommend using the company. Thanks Ali for being great, you made the experience even better!

What an excellent outdoor adventure company! Turned up with some youngsters for an afternoon paddle on the river and whoo.. it was wild! First off, in order to get you water-confident and to get the basics mastered,, you get a thorough explanation of the river, there are instructors on hand to share their passion for canoeing and kayaking. You get a safety check. These instructors have a good knowledge of the area and give excellent information on parts of the river to navigate away. Love the way the business is organised. Cheery staff. A most ideal location on this stretch of the Thames. Parking on Ham Riverside carpark 8 mins walk away.Don’t forget water and a hat!

Even more impressive was how Pierce expertly suited us up in perfect kayaks, despite my significant height (6’7”) that has previously posed fitting problems.Pierce went above and beyond to ensure our day was unforgettable, recommending The White Swan, a charming pub nestled by the Thames. The meal was memorable in itself, further enriching our day of adventure.While we are no strangers to kayaking, our excursion with Back of Beyond stood out as an exceptionally safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. WE had the BEST time paddle boarding with BBA on Sunday. Alison explained everything super well, provided us with a space to leave things as well as providing us with dry bags, and off we went. We can't wait to come back!!

Went with work colleagues for an evening guided session. Can't recommend the company highly enough. We all had a great time and it was all thanks to our guides, Piers and Alison. Both were very friendly and informative and did a great job with our large group.
