Since the first time I picked up the phone to Care Tunbridge Wells, they have been extremely caring, patient and mapped out the best medical plan for myself and my partner. I was told I had a low egg count and I may get 1-2 embryos the most, I ended up with 4 fantastic embryos at a high grading, with no side effects from the medication. We sadly wasn’t successful on our first cycle but we already have a plan for our second cycle with a frozen transfer by Dr Shahin Robati, who we can’t thank enough. Our embryologist Susanne at Tunbridge Wells was fantastic, she did a brilliant job with our embryos and even gave one of them an additional day, which needed up making the final 4. She talked up through everything and made myself and Pete feel at ease and was supportive in our journey.I wouldn’t want any other fertility clinic looking after us both throughout this journey . Thank you from Hayley and Pete

Couldn’t have had a better experience!! Even during lockdown! The staff were ALL so amazing abs the amount of detail explained about everything was so amazing! It made the experiences so much better than anyone could hope for. The estimated due date was spot on too - Currently baby girl is 3 months old!

I had three cycles of ivf at care Tunbridge Wells (aged 37 years when started, AMH of 1.4, trying to conceive 3 years, ectopic pregnancy Jan 2019, one child already). Our first round of Ivf was during the first covid lockdown. I had already stimmed and heard nothing from the team re a plan but accepted it was unusual times. I went along to my first scan and was told the round would be ‘freeze all’. Between my initial appointment with the doctor and starting my first round, my AMH result came back but no one discussed the low result and the very slim chance of actually having any embryos to freeze). This was my first round and I wasn’t given any other option but to go ahead. Whilst 2 eggs fertilised and one to blastocyst it was not good enough to freeze and was discarded. This was a pointless round and despite it being unusual circumstances, no refund/partial refund was offered (this round cost me 6K)-after much chasing I was eventually refunded 1K. The second round was as predicted although the treatment protocol was not adapted at all from the first. Still no one discussed what my low AMH results mean. The third round was a disaster as half the follicles had already ruptured by the time of egg collection. This was supposed to be a mild stimulation round with clomid but this actually ended up costing the same in medication as previous rounds. When we embarked on IVF, we were given odds of 40%. During my third round a Nurse mentioned they had seen ‘one’ previous success with AMH as low as mine. I then spoke to an independent doctor who confirmed the odds per round for my AMH levels are at most 5%. To be honest I wish the clinic had been honest about this from the beginning as well as the low chance of having anything to ‘freeze’ so we could make informed choices. I know we have a responsibility to research this ourselves but it’s very difficult to find out this information. We both agree that we were led to believe we had a good chance with IVF at the beginning (we were told 40% per round at our initial consultant with the doctor and this was not revised once my AMH results came in). Also on 3 occasions, when I contacted the doctor via email she did not even reply. I’ve spent over 17K and the doctor can’t even reply to an email. To be honest my husband and I find this very unsatisfactory.Despite having had two failed embryo transfers of good grade embryos, I’ve never been offered any tests/mock cycle. I think we only stuck with the clinic as it was during covid restrictions and was local. We moved to another clinic and it was so refreshing. They did mock cycles and gave me medication to thicken lining. We are now pregnant.I think in reality care fertility would never advise you to stop as making money is very obviously the primary focus. Anyone who does proceed with low AMH needs to try to have a clear picture of how many rounds they are willing to fund/go through and also needs to research from the outset about the odds (it is really hard to find this information online but some clinics will be much more upfront about this). Care fertility were all round disappointing.Update- re the response from Care below, I did write a complaint regarding our experience, but never reached a satisfactory resolution with Care. No one from Care has contacted me since.

I can’t rate Care Fertility highly enough. We attended the clinic for our second round of IVF after having an appalling experience with another fertility clinic so we were a bit jaded and apprehensive about what to expect. From the moment we walked in the door to our last appointment we felt cared for and in great hands. All of the staff are so friendly and make you feel like a human and not just a number!

It’s mixed experience, we had done with this clinic few years before they used to be great, here is why we choose them again. Unfortunately, a lot of things changed, more profitable interest than actual doctor abilities. First part, the receptionist, we asked about information about financial package, she said she doesn’t know and no any information available, she made promise to contact me, but no reply. Second, the scan team are great but the nurse (examination)who in charge to take blood was awful. Finally, the doctor, left huge amount of embryos in the tummy, and with only two left blaster cyst, one is less good, still offer me to frozen. Does she understand what is priority of her cline? Very disappointing. My advise is checked the doctors ability, they used to have really good consultant, but I think he is in their London branch.

We were left so bitterly disappointed by our treatment at this clinic, we moved our embryos elsewhere. Here are just a few reasons why:1. Not Doctor led. We never saw a Doctor during face to face appts or scans. We only spoke to different Doctors on the phone during the initial consultation and the subsequent follow up when our FET failed.2. Patient care is poor. The clinic will put you on down regulation to make it convenient for them (because they don't open on a weekend) instead of working with your cycle. When my lining was too thick, they continued with my FET anyway, and didn't investigate/adjust medication. In hindsight we were set up to fail.3. Money takes priority. We were refused our protocol dates until we'd paid for the next FET upfront. When I stated that we would need to know if the dates worked for my husband's travel, before we handed over such a large sum of money, we were not listened to and just told it was in their T&C's.These are just 3 examples. The clinic we are now with does the exact opposite of Care Fertility.I have consistently seen one Dr throughout my treatment, she even did my frozen embryo transfer & has phoned me whenever I've had a question. The clinic opens on a weekend, if a patients cycle lands on a Saturday or Sunday, then so be it. They will be available to do a procedure. They do not prescribe down regs as standard or put you on unnecessary tablets to delay your period. When having a scan/blood test I have been informed on the same day to change dose/come back for a check-up if needed. Was never once told to pay a fee before being given medication protocol. Infact, the opposite. Our current clinic asked us when was suitable and they'd work with us.It must be mentioned too, in terms of costs; both clinics are comparable. We are paying the same, but have received a beautiful standard of care with minimal stress. When you decide to embark on the very personal & emotive journey of IVF, you hope and expect to find a clinic that wants to help you and feel like you're an individual. Care did not do this, we were just another number on their books.

We had a wonderful experience at CF Tunbridge Wells. The team is excellent and couldn't recommend it more. They are always available for answering questions, are really caring and have a great success rate! We will use them again for sure :)

Very hard to get hold of now that the contact number has gone national. Worst thing they could have done. Emailing them with still no contact.

Dear parents to be,I was really excited when I have picked CARE Fertility Clinic TW as DR. Georgios resume on the website looked so promising. Then when the appointment came in, I was extremely disappointed to realise that the face / top consultant of the clinic is not working for the clinic anymore". So instead a specialist instead of a MD DR has been assigned to our case. Further they mixed all the appointment details and it was a lot of back and forth. Just don't go there

SARAH LYNCH is an angel sent from above. She is the exact type of person you need when suffering with fertility issues. She is empathetic and compassionate but still manages your expectations, just in a diplomatic and calm way. She is by far the best person within a healthcare setting I have ever dealt with. I cannot put into words how settled and comfortable she made my husband and I feel. I’ve had issues at care fertility but she improved my whole experience from the day I met her. ❤️
