Terrible service and really rude reception staff (obviously not all of them!). They basically hang up on you while you are still talking! They don't have any understanding of patients situations.I requested an appointment to see a doctor urgently as I was in pain. I was told that they can only offer phone calls from a doctor. I accepted and requested if the phone call could take place in the morning, so if there's a need for the doctor to see me, there would still be time. I waited for a call until almost 3 pm when I needed to call back and chase. The receptionist was so rude on the call like I had done something wrong, and as I was still talking she hung up on me! I use their services less than once in a year, so I expect when I call and request an appointment, they realise that it's a serious situation and treat me respectfully. In fact one reason I never want to book an appointment in this center is some of their receptionist's staff.

My first appointment at this surgery today. The receptionist was very, welcoming, friendly and professional. The doctor and nurse I saw today, were also professional and welcoming. So far, so good.

5 stars review based on two recent experiences. Firstly, I attended the clinic to make an appointment for worrying symptoms, the kind receptionist put me on the emergency list for a call the same day. By the end of the day I’d spoken to the Doctor, and been referred for a face to face appointment the same afternoon. Within 5 days my symptoms had been thoroughly investigated at the JR.Secondly, a friend who visited last week became very ill. She left her number for a call back, which she received within 30 minutes, she was guided through registration as a visitor, was referred for face to face after a telephone conversation and was prescribed medication within 4 hours of making the initial call. Many thanks to all concerned for sympathetic, helpful and professional service

Lovely experience at the practice, the team made an effort to make me feel really at home. Everyone was very considerate and did their best to help where they could!

Terrible surgery. They simply do not care about the patient. The registrar was simply not interested in listening to me. I felt like a burden trying to explain to her how I feel. Previously, the health center has been unresponsive about my needs. Luckily someone I know suggested switching surgeries. But yes I would definitely not recommend

I was peturbed by multi-causal losses of leg and body mobility. After an unsatisfactory telephone call from an obviously very busy and preoccuppied doctor I was reschedulen a face - appointment with a new Dr and medical student who put up with my quest for a cure for untreatable complaints with kindness and professional skill. My happy (?!) experiences with this excellent practice over the last 30 years are now extendeds and confirmed. Thanks !

I'd avoid this practice, especially if you're an Oxford student and this is the default GP your college has sent you to. I have had consistently poor experiences in trying to book appointments and have left appointments feeling patronized and unheard. I gave them a shot and would recommend looking elsewhere.

Been using this doctors for 5 years. Never had a problem. My kids also have the same doctors and have been wonder. Unsure why the reviews are awful but from my experience they have been amazing doctors. Help with your problems instead of immediately giving tablets. They try resolving the problem without medication (if they can)

the absolute RUDEST receptionist i have ever encountered. called for my wife’s appointment and hung up on me. then my wife called and spoke to her extremely condescendingly. should be fired. no bedside manner and the services are horrendous. do NOT register with this GP if you want a pleasant experience. rude. rude. rude. rude.(UPDATE) if i was to get in touch with you it would be with your extremely rude receptionist team would it not?

Fantastic service from this practise, having been under another practise in Oxford and 2 in London I can say this is the best care I’ve had. Super helpful receptionists (have spoken to most of them) and midwife, nurses and GPs have all been able to speak or see me on the day of urgent or within a week if not. Antenatal (Jade, the midwife based here) and infant care (nurses, GPs) have been spot on.
