Cancelled my booking without any explanation.Try to call back and it takes forever to get through to the customer service.Last time using Halfords

We needed help with a quick fix on our car and so we called Halfords, Joel was so kind and amazing squeezed us in despite having no appointment and despite not being regulars. They helped us out, fixed our car timely and efficiently just before they closed! Highly recommend 5 stars!

Until coming across Halfords, I always had anxiety about going to the mechanics (as a new driver / car owner). I’ve had a few visits throughout the year, just for peace of mind and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating - especially the centre manager. Had and passed my MOT at Halfords Finchley Autocentre today and the staff were accommodating as always. Really efficient turn around and professional throughout. My car concerns are always investigated in a timely, diligent manner. Will definitely be back with any future car concerns. Being part of the members club also gave me a nice £10 discount off my MOT this year :). Would highly recommend!

Joel was absolutely amazing, went to get new brake disks and pads firstly at Hendon Halfords but they weren't too helpful in my situation but when I spoke with Joel he was very reassuring and helpful, told me to go to Halfords auto centre Finchley and got the new brakes fitted. Would recommend 100%.

Awful service! Had my MOT booked on a Saturday at 3.10pm. They said it would take a couple of hours and would call me when it’s done, however it came to 5pm and nobody had called me so I phoned the garage and was told by a automated message it was closed. I walked down there and the garage was shut along with my cars and keys inside. I had no access to my car all weekend and could not get to work on Monday. When I phoned today (Monday) chasing them, I was told my car had failed and I told them that I had no phone call on Saturday to tell me this, or that my car would be shut in the garage all weekend, the response I got was “the managers are covering the branch” (?) It was only after I called the garage that I got an email from them to say my car was ready to collect. I was also quoted £1,110 for a front arm suspension and a new exhaust which I’m dubious about. I went to pick up my car and didn’t even get a hello or to tell me my car had failed. I just given the keys and paperwork and that’s it. I have never had an issue with this garage until now. Avoid this place if you expect customer service cos you are not going to get it here!

Avoid this place, they are dodge, been there for a brake pads replacement only, but they try to make me change brake discs too, it was the first time the car needed to have the pads replaced, car was only 25k miles. Definitely don’t recommend the place.

Called the service on Monday (4/12) to have my winter tyres swapped so they booked me in for Thursday (7/12) asking to drop my car at 8am. This is a service I used years ago in the same garage without any issues. Arrived on the day to find out they actually can't swap my tyres as they were not purchased from them (as per the policy) and been told to go home. I made additional personal arrangements and wasted my time because the person on Monday wasn't aware of their own policy. This is unacceptable from a big company like Halfords.

Really disappointed with the service. Booked a wheel alignment in advance, turned up on the day and was told the machine has been broken for days. No one contacted me to let me know in advance, and I still got reminder text message to come for the appointment. Staff were not apologetic or helpful at all. Poor service.----I've had more bad experiences since the above:Free checks are a scam!The wheel alignment free check highlighted a problem with the suspension so we were told to do a free suspension check. The suspension check showed we apparently needed completely new track rods and a new gator as this was cracked. Halfords total ~£450.We usually go to our local small garage to fix our car but on this occasion they didn't have the machinery for a wheel alignment. We did however go to them for the new rods and gator Halfords said we needed, and the mechanic told us the rods were absolutely fine (1 new, 1 in working order), and the gator was just missing a clip (not cracked at all). The clip and labour cost £50.We wasted so much time going back and forth to different Halfords branches for the checks and were so disappointed to find out they were trying to charge us for things we didn't need. I'd completely avoid them if I were you. Their costs look appealing, especially for the free checks, but it'll end up costing you a bomb and wasting your time.

Honest, trustworthy, comprehensive. Incredible value for money, with services guaranteed by a big brand motoring retailer.My MINI's MOT and tyre replacement were completed within an hour - for the second year in a row. The team were courteous and the feedback about the general condition of the car was genuine.I won't go anywhere else. It's awesome to have found what every motorist needs - a reliable, straightforward, affordable local garage.

Very poor customer service from a staff member named Joe both via telephone and in person, not a nice individual to speak with, incorrect charge applied for an oil and filter service, having requested a refund he failed to assist. Rather rude approach stating it’s not under his remit to clarify prices given this visit was the first and last time visiting this branch I would suggest you avoid visiting halfords by any means necessary.
