I'd recommend going down to see the vaults below the station:Waterloo's Leake Street is a dank hide out for aerosol-wielding graffiti artists, who cover the walls of this old railway passage with layer on layer of technicoloured designs. Make it through the painty fug and you'll discover The Vaults, a surprisingly huge arts venue hidden behind an unassuming door. The Vaults is at its busiest each February and March, when hundreds of new shows take over this ramshackle collection of theatre spaces and bars, under the umbrella of Vault Festival. You'll find autobiographical solo shows, interactive adventures and installations, new plays, themed parties and hordes of tipsy theatregoers settling into the venue's many whimsically decorated bar spaces, which come alive with late night weekend events. But there are plenty of reasons to venture to The Vaults at warmer times of year. It's become the go-to venue for ambitious immersive shows, most notably the venue's big 2015 hit 'Alice's Adventures Underground'. And it also holds dining theatre experiences a-plenty, jazz nights, gigs, and nights out which make the most of the venue's brick-walled, cavernous atmosphere. The Vaults came into life in 2013 with its first event, a full album play of a Daft Punk album. It took over the space formerly known as The Old Vic Tunnels, which from 2009-2013 held an impressive array of pop-up theatre shows under the auspices of the theatre down the road. Today, it's got one permanent 160-seater auditorium, The Vault Theatre, plus a host more temporary galleries and spaces.

Waterloo
Huge London Tube station which is a major artery and transition station in London. Lots of shops and food options and also is a huge hub for London trainsOne thing that gets EASILY overlooked is the history and beautiful ornate design of this place. If you goto the front entrance and just look up, you can see the wonderful history built into it. Love the WW I motifs/edifices and architecture of it

Waterloo
The biggest and one of the oldest metro and National Rail station in London. Usually serves south of England. Metro station is separated from National Rail station. National Rail service is usually served by Southern" or "South Western Railway" All services superb.Be careful as Lambeth council enforcement officers are monitoring front of this station should anyone litter

A useful station with main line connections and multiple tube lines to get you around London easily. The London eye is close by and this is the closest tube station for that. There is some interesting things around this station like The Waterloo siren is near by on the blue railway bridge and the graffiti tunnel that run's under this station.

Waterloo Station have done a wonderful job in modernising the entire building this includes the old Eurostar platform to make way for more trains to have extra tracks to park on the arrival and departure. It looks modern and clean.

National Windrush Monument in Waterloo station, a really epic monument that pays homage to the early congratulations by Caribbean settlers who left their homeland to travel to the UK after the war to help rebuild a devastated economy, only to be pushed to the bottom of the socioeconomic landscape and years later many were forcefully repatriated. This statue shows a hopeful family beautifully dressed with their luggage ready for a new life .

I would first like to clarify that I have only visited this station once during the start of the summer holidays.Firstly, the location of the station is great, there is also exellent wheelchair access. The station puts you near some major attractions such as the London Eye, Westminster Bridge and Sea Life etc.And if you have any trouble walking to your destination, you can always catch the tube located just beneath the station, From which you can use the Northern, Bakerloo or Jubilee line.On my visit, the train to Staines was delayed or cancelled, we were never really sure given the minimum amount of information available. However, we were fortunately able to use another train to get to our stop given the high frequency on our route.I would definetly recommend that anyone who is planning on using the station should arrive early in preparation for delays or cancellations, especially in school holidays.Overall the facilities were managed well given the station's popularity within London.

A transportation hub in Londonthe last stop of the Southwest trainYou can walk almost to the tourist centre of London, which we are familiar with. The lobby of Waterloo Station is always busyIt’s a big train station with trains going between underground and ground all day.It is clean even though it was quite busy with many travelers. It’s easy to see from which platform the train leaves. It is a huge station inside surrounded by many vehicles and pedestrian traffic. The station has both regular trains running to other parts of the UK and subways running throughout London. The exterior is impressive, at least on one side. On the other side, it looks a little depressed, but it’s an interesting place overall. There are restaurants and shops in the station. Roads outside the station are packed with both vehicles and pedestrians.

Waterloo
One of the main Northern Line and busiest station in London. Really busy specially at peak time.Location wise too good. Just very next to River Thames, LondonEye, Westminster Bridge, Royal Festival Hall and many more important points for the tourists. It’s next to Waterloo train station which is the busiest station because of Southwestern railways main operator. A new brand shopping place opened The Siding Waterloo.

Staff was really helpful when we lost a cellphone one night. It was turned in and kept safe until we were able to come and claim it.
