Whitehill Country Park

We love this place. Been here a couple of times now and it never dissapoints. The toilet block is lovely and clean plenty of hot water in the showers. We always stay in the camping pods. If I had to give a down side it would be that the pods aren't at all private as they all look out onto one another and a path to the toilet block on the bottom right would be preferential as have to walk across the field. We also were surprised to see the cleaner rock up at 10.07 in November. I understand check out times but some flexibility in low season would be great. Can't comment on the indoor pool as we didn't use it but next time we will bring our swim wear!

Spent week camping, very impressed, I have done a lot of camping and have never been on a site with such clean facilities, whatever time of day or night the showers and toilets were very clean.Both indoor and outdoor pools really nice, outdoor pool is heated so it's worth a try.Bar is good, food is good and standard pub grub!, they have entertainment and one afternoon had a particularly good man playing an acoustic guitar.Nice little shop although pretty expensive, you can order freshly baked goods to pick up for breakfast, we did this and they were really nice.Dog friendly site, you can take the dog into one of the bars to eat with the other bar been off limits.Bluebell wood beautiful and earth a walk through.Nice and quite overnight.Overall, it is one of the cleanest and best run sites I have stayed on, we will be back!.

Nice get away in our caravan with 2 young children aged 3 and 18months.Arrived late evening on the Friday, staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish.The shower blocks and toilets very clean and parts very modern.Swimming pool was lovely modern and clean, could of done with being a little warmer for the kids, but they loved it.The bar and entertainment was great atmosphere the kids loved there stay, and we will be back down in the near future.
