I had a 1-to-1 lesson with Gary, and it was brilliant. He answered all my questions, made everything really understandable and easy to grasp. It was straightforward and so much fun! I loved it, and I completely and utterly recommend Photography Course London, and Gary! I will be coming back to attend more courses, for sure!

I have recently completed the evening beginner digital photography course and I strongly recommend this to anyone who is trying to figure out how to start their photography journey and can't get their heads around camera settings and features.Mikael is an extremely competent and professional teacher and there is a perfect balance between the classroom based teachings and the practical sessions. The admin team is also very responsive and accommodating.By looking around online ,I believe this is course has the best balance between cost and quality.Looking forward to attend more courses in the near future!Thank you everyone.

Photography Course London
I took the lighting for portrait photography course with Mikael this week and I cannot recommend it enough. The day started with some theory and a discussion with Mikael about what we were individually looking to get out of the course. We then got an introduction to some lights both analog and digital as well as stands, backdrops and modifiers. Finally we got to experience a test shoot with a model and take photos ourselves using several different lighting setups. I would personally recommend this course to anyone from beginner to more advanced photographers looking to get a better understanding of lighting in a studio. I will definitely be returning to do some of the other courses they have to offer. Mikael has a deep understanding of photography and lighting and is very good at explaining complex theory in a clear way.

I had a great time at the Digital Photography Crash Course. As a complete beginner, I went in with basically no prior knowledge about my camera, but left feeling much more confident in my grasp of the basics, such as shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Our teacher Mikael was clear, concise and extremely helpful and patient. I would very much recommend this class to other beginners wanting to get a basic grounding in how to start using and enjoying their camera!

I had booked the Photoshop Foundation Level 2 course & just through the way it worked out on the day, it ended up just being me on the course with the course instructor, Mikael.The level of knowledge and experience Mikael has around Photoshop as well as Bridge and Light Room Classic is phenomenal, on top of his extensive knowledge with photography.This, however, was in no way overwhelming in the way he taught the course, Mikael tailored the course to my level of understanding and knowledge of Photoshop that I already had - I was given time to write any notes and, where needed, Mikael went over certain aspects again.The course is structured in a way that encompasses practical learning with your laptop as opposed to power point presentations and technical jargon speak.I have never been the most computer literate person, but I walked away from the course with a greater understanding and knowledge of photoshop and building blocks that I can practice with and use in my line of work.I couldn’t recommend this course more.

Went through the intensive Level 1 to DSLR course last Saturday, and could not recommend it more! Whether you are a newbie to photography or have some knowledge beforehand, this course is a must!!! It gives you the proper skills and understanding to jump out the streets and maximize your learnings, and Mickel was the best instructor! The group was small so we could catch-up on doubts very easily and the practice outside was so enjoyable! Def a experience to learn from.

Fantastic street photography course with Gary from Photography Course London. A well structured day with time for looking at inspirational photos, discussing potential techniques and for taking photos in the Brick Lane/Spitalfields area. The day ended with a positive critique session which brought everything together. Has definitely inspired me and given me the confidence to do further street photography.

What a fantastic course with so much usable information given. The tutor Mikael was knowledgable, patient and really presented in way to layer and build confidence. I’ve had my dslr for ages and now finally feel ok to venture from auto mode! Ideal location around Shoreditch and The admin team were responsive to my questions and I’ll definitely be looking to continue my photography journey with The Photography Course London.

I highly recommend this course, I recently went to the level 1 beginner photography day course and I learnt so much from the theory of using my camera as well as creative tricks to produce amazing looking photos. It's also great to get feedback face to face and instantly tackling any issues or questions I had. My photos have instantly improved and I have signed up to their diploma. Looking forward to joining the other classes they have to offer!

Having just attended the intermediate intense photography course, I cannot recommend enough London Photography Course to anyone who wants to improve the understanding of his/her camera.Mikael delivered the course clearly, he was always engaging and the material covered was very useful. I definitely see my camera in a different light now.
