Okay so I’m seeing bad reviews but honestly the guy who’s always there is so nice. About not being able to use card? That’s generally not his fault as he’s not getting paid on time. Cut him some slack. The fact that he took time to even explain why to me is decent of him. It’s a pandemic we should learn to be kinder⭐️

Payne’s “inconvenience” store.....truly don’t bother shopping here - they don’t do Collect+ (despite advertising that they do), they don’t take cards (despite the pandemic) and they don’t talk honestly or particularly pleasantly to customers. Avoid.

The owner is very rude to customers.My sister who is disabled mentally and physically ended up taking a tumble and hurting herself due to the person who wouldn’t take a returned parcel. All for the sake of printing a barcode. He’s refused her on three separate occasions. It’s not acceptable.

Dishonest shop. They did not clearly show the price tag on the product. When I make the payment, the cashier just told me any amount he like to charge. They did not use card because the cashier could get whatever money they requested and pocket some for himself. I bought an ice-cream cone for £2.99 and l later found out I was being cheated.

Rude service and out of date products scattered on the floor in a dirty shop. No thanks.I’ve been there 3 times and each time bought something out of date!Disgusting place! AVOID!

The guy in there is a miserable horrible man. It’s almost as though he’s annoyed by you shopping in there. Make a point to never go here unless you like overpriced out-of-date produce

Took my electric key when I got given a code fromElectric provider for emergency top up . Tried to say the code was wrong even tho it was given by British Gas rude owner don’t go there if you want to be scammed

No longer accepts card payment so unless you've got cash don't bother. Usually a good drink selection however quite lot of products are past their best before / sell-by date. Staff are generally rude too. Also their parcel return machine is temperamental to say the least - didn't work for me last time and the staff said it was my fault, so I walked down the road to another newsagents and it worked fine.
