English Wine Tasting Tours

Got bought a wine and cheese tasting for my birthday and it was fantastic! Had a great experience touring Kent in a super nice minibus, Justin was a charismatic and knowledgeable host the whole day and we sampled some delicious wines and cheeses. These guys are such a lovely family team and it was a pleasure spending the day with them!

After having done just the wine tour by itself a couple of years ago, came back with a group to do the wine and cheese tour.Justin was a great tour leader - very personable and knowledgeable. The chosen winery - Chapel Down - is well worth a visit. We were looked after really well by Justin and Nicola throughout the day and got to taste some lovely English wines - mostly sparkling.After lunch at The William Caxton, the second stop of wine and cheese pairing was set in a great little function room overlooking Woodchurch Vineyard. The pairings were well put together to give a treat to the taste buds.Highly recommended tour, with great hosts and an enjoyable experience.

Booked a tour for a group of 16 friends, no particular reason for the booking, just a group that enjoy wine.Great communication for booking the tour. Justin was our host for the day and came with a lot of knowledge for English wines and the area.Great value for money - visited 3 wineries, each with a wine tasting of 4+ wines and also had a pub lunch.100% will book again and highly recommend to others!

Such a fantastic day and definitely worth the wait. We originally booked a tour last November to celebrate my 30th birthday, however due to lockdown restrictions we finally managed to go ahead this Autumn. Nicola was great at keeping in touch over this time to reschedule the day and had great recommendations on places to stay.Justin was our driver and guide for the day and he couldn't have been any more informative and welcoming. We visited three beautiful vineyards and also had some delicious lunch and wine inbetween. We would most definitely use this company again in the future and would strongly recommend them to friends and family.

We had the pleasure of doing the private wine tour to Kent with a pick up in London. From the first contact with Nicola to the drop off in London, everything went extremely smoothly. Justin, our guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating, and the eight of us had the best time visiting Sedlescombe, Oastbrook, and Woodchurch wineries, along with a great pub lunch we ate in the garden of a cute pub. Throughout the whole day we met fantastic wine producers who really care about their craft, and it was amazing to see and to talk with them while trying their wine (usually 3-4 varieties per stop). Justin also arranged for us to stop at Chapel Down's wine store (as they were not open for tours) and bought us a few bottles to drink while at lunch. Thanks, Nicola and Justin!

A brilliant day as a family party of 6 celebrating my big birthday. 3 very different vineyards, sampled 14+ wines and a splendid pub lunch in the mix, all orchestrated by our efficient, professional and charming guide, Nicola. Thank you Thoroughly recommended!"

An informative and fun day complete with tasting excellent and promising English wines! Our group of friends had almost a full day led by Martin our experience guide and helpful driver Robin. Highly recommended, we're planning our next tour as we speak!!

My friends and I attended the English Cheese and Wine tasting tour in August 2020. We booked the tour earlier in the year before the Covid-19 outbreak, and luckily we could still attend due to the measures Justin and Nicola put in place. Before the tour Nicola was very efficient via email and telephone, helping to ensure the trip would run successfully with the correct social distancing measures in place. Our transport to the vineyards enabled us to socially distance comfortably. Both Chapel Down and Woodchurch vineyard tours and tastings were great, and I particularly enjoyed the afternoon’s wine and cheese tasting hosted by Nicola and Justin, who have great knowledge of the perfect pairings. Thank you both for going above and beyond to give us a fantastic day out!

We booked a private vineyards tour for a group of friends with English Wine Tasting ToursWe visited Sedlescombe Organic, Chapel Down, and Woodchurch Estate and had lunch at The William Caxton. The day went from 10am-5pm. We tried 4-6 wines at each place and had a great pub lunch too.Justin led the tour and was awesome - tonnes of knowledge and super friendly. We also met Nicola his wife who runs the business. They were super flexible throughout the booking process and the tour and even helped to retrieve a lost phone from the train on the day (thank you!)

Organised a private wine tour in Sept for my boyfriends birthday. Nicola picked us up at the station and was a wonderful guide throughout the day. We visited three very different wineries and really enjoyed trying and learning about new wines - in fact we bought a few bottles from all of them! (just to add - there was absolutely no pressure to do so at any places we visited). As long as you like drinking wine, this tour works for everyone - my wine knowledge is very limited, whereas my boyfriend (who is French) knows his stuff, and we both equally loved it.My only constructive feedback is that personally I prefer a clean glass for each wine rather than using the same one, so a small recommendation would be for the wineries to offer that for those who prefer (one of the three did this).
