Wish I had read the reviews here before I handed my two tickets back to the box office for resale - I thought this was the fairest thing to do. The performance was sold out and they had my tickets for six days…but then emailed me to say they had not been sold. I DO NOT recommend trusting the box office. They have no incentive really to sell two 150 pound tickets and deduct 5 pounds per ticket.Next time sell to an agent!

they must have spent £20 getting this booking system coded up. simply doesn’t work and is designed to ruin the customer experience. when your charging £200 per ticket you could at least make it easy for the customer to purchase the tickets. apparently this theatre is stuck in the 1980s.

Saw “To kill a Mockingbird” which was superb! The theatre itself is in a central location and very accessible.

Do NOT resell your tickets through the box office, I fully understand they can only resell tickets once the show is sold out but there is a concerneing element of trust here. 48 hours before the show there were 8 tickets left for King Lear, pretty much a sold out show as the whole run has been. I had 4 prime tickets for Saturday night. I would think prime seats for a prime show on a Saturday night stood a good chance of selling, but nothing is certain.Sunday morning I am told that my tickets did not resell however some friends that were in the audience that night that I asked them to keep an eye out said that the seats were occupied. When I mentioned this to the Box Office I was told that they did not sell however some patrons may have moved to those seats if unoccupied and thart was beyond their control - I agree, I have seen that before, but not before curtain up at the start, seems like whoever was sitting there either had tickets to sit there or felt confident the holders were not going to arrive.Either way selling through the Delfont Mackintosh group is not senisble, as their terms state, you have no control whatsoever on the resale and you have to trust them. It is much better to resell through Twickets, a fan to fan site that you can controls the pricing, cannot sell above face value for and at least have confidence over the process. You live and learn but its been an expensive lesson.

I adore the intimate setting of the theatre – cosy chairs close to the stage ensure an unobstructed view, even if someone tall sits in front. The acoustics are superb, and the refreshment bar is well-stocked. My only complaint is the lack of a designated cab pickup area, leaving you drenched on rainy days.

Fantastic Customer service from booking Office, I had booked lots of tickets for me an friend to see a play, but wanted to move the seat across to the middle [ someone had bought a single middle seat] . The extremely helpful gentleman in Delfont customer care service kindly re-jigged my seats do half on weather side of the person in the middle. Really great service thank you.

Brilliant customer service, Les Mis is a fab show! All Covid 19 rules respected, a clean theatre considering the age of it! Well kept and in a central location. I would recommend this theatre!

I’ve always booked my tickets directly with Delfont Mackintosh Theatres via their website, and have never had any problems until day.I’ve booked to see a play for tonight, but I woke up feeling really unwell. I went into work but was sent home, so thought it best if I try and reschedule my theatre ticket. On the website it says you can only exchange tickets online 48hrs prior to the show, so to call their Customer Service number instead - which I did, only to be told they don’t do exchanges on the day of the performance.I reiterated that I’m not feeling well, and asked if he recommends that I still attend the show tonight, despite the fact that I am ill and likely to pass whatever illness I have on to other customers. He replied, “Yeah, well, we don’t do exchanges on the day”. I thanked him for his wonderful customer service and hung up.Appalling response and behaviour from a multimillion pound company who obviously don’t give a flying squirrel about the welfare of their customers. If I had the ability to see the future and had known two days ago I would be unwell and unfit to attend, I would have most certainly exchanged my ticket. But I’m not Mystic Meg and therefore I do not possess that ability. But here’s what I do know - I will save myself a fortune in the future as this will be the last Delfont Mackintosh Theatres production I attend.

The train strikes aren't the theatre's fault - but they denied my ask of moving the tickets to another day so I can make it. Fair enough if it's a sold out show, but they even told me they have hundreds spare for my performance, and future shows. Simply moving my ticket to another day would have been harmless and no loss of revenue. Alas, they won't, because policy"...When Policy denies customers for no logical reason

We were mugged and my bag stolen 1.5 hours before the book of Mormon, so we ended up missing it. We had 6 tickets full price tickets and the theatre has shown no goodwill or support. The wonderful policemen who took our statements even came into the theatre to help support us, and the management were just rude and wanted nothing to do with us.This theatre does not live up to its benefactors name, and we will not come back to watch the show.Very very poor, and sadly not one ounce of empathy 2 days from Christmas and in traumatic circumstances. You should be ashamed.
