Wanderlust Nail Lounge

The staff were friendly but unfortunately, especially for the price paid, the nails were not good enough. The nail varnish bled into my cuticles and, when I went back to get them tidied up about 10 mins later, I was told it was the shape of my nails. As I said, nice staff and great selection of colours but I’m definitely not happy with my nails not being neat.

Same issue as the more recent posters, the quality, professionalism and just the friendliness of the nail technicians has considerably reduced over the last few years.Went for gel manicure; very little cuticle work- the technician barely pushed them back, the varnish was also quite thickly applied.Some of the staff do appear rather sullen, it does not make for the best experience. I shall be not be returning unfortunately as it used to be a lovely place with seriously good nail technicians.

I had my wedding on saturday and just a day before, one salon cancelled on me! So I called wanderlust and they took me in with no doubts! I think the place is lovely, small and cozy in Maida Vale. Girls work super efficient and very helpful when choosing the colours for the nails. I did nails extentions, manicure and also pedicure with gel polish. Results did not disappoint me. I had amzing nails for my wedding and couldn't have been more happy! Thank You Wanderlust!

Appointment for my Mum since she was visiting London and she was treated amazingly :)The girls are very kind, professional and welcoming.My Mum loves her nails and she really enjoyed her time in the salon, coffee, nails, Prosecco and a relaxing time :)

As a regular I can't rate Wanderlust highly enough - I have been going weekly for well over a year now and have never been disappointed. The owner is professional and most importantly passionate about nails and the salon itself. The owner's vision filters down to the nail technicians who all consistently do an excellent job. I recommend the salon to all my friends and family. I can't thank Wanderlust enough for the excellent service I receive, I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Very unhappy with my pedicure. No care taken to remove dead skin, just a quick rub down, so my feet are rough around the heel. The most uncomfortable seating situation ever. They were very rough with my feet, I kept flinching due to them hurting me. Staff weren't very friendly- zero hospitality. Won't be returning here again!

I don't usually do reviews like this but I am not happy with my experience at this nail salon. I had shown a picture of what I wanted during the treatment and still did not receive what. I had additional plans outside after my nail appointment. This is why at the end of the treatment I asked for a receipt so I can write out a formal complaint. I have have sent an email to the nail salon about my experience in a FORMAL manner including all pictures. In return, i get told that I am threatening their so called establishment. I am very gutted with my experience and would not recommend this nail salon to anyone else as there is better ones.

I have visited this place several times but the last time I was extremely disappointed. The girl who did my pedicure didn’t want to remove my ingrowns when usually in other salons they just charge me extra and they do it. The girl who did my manicure, did it in like 10 mins, didn’t even tell me to wash my hands before she put the color on and the next day the color chipped already and as you can see she didn’t even cut the sides. This picture is the next day!

Staff are accommodating, I had to change my appointment three times in one day due to traffic and they were so sweet about it!So pleased with my nails; done quickly, professionally and are lasting well.Do not let their very reasonable prices put you off, they’re amazing!
