Guilden Gate Glamping

Myself, my partner and our 4 month old had a wonderful few days here in the Secret Garden. We were amazed with how much space we had for our personal use! Everything was clean, comfy, and well planned out - you really do only need to bring food and drink, everything is here! Simon was so welcoming and friendly for our entire stay (and even heated up the hot tub before we arrived).We barely left the site as we made use of the seat swings and hammocks - it felt like a true relaxing escape. Thanks Simon and family.

We stayed at the secret garden for 5 nights and it was lovely and relaxing! I’d definitely recommend this place. It is very private, there are lots of opportunities for bird & squirrel watching, as they are frequent visitors! The hot tub is in a secluded spot and we enjoyed using this a lot, even when it was rainy it was still refreshing to use. The outdoor fire pit is great for evening cooking & also nice to have the hammock & swinging comfy chair to relax on. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, but they also ensure you have privacy. Perfect place to recharge your batteries in a serene setting. We look forward to staying again!

The location was stunning and the hospitality superb. We didn't need to bring anything except food and clothes as everything was provided. A perfect spot to get away from London for a night or two. Highy recommend.

A really beautiful and unforgettable experience! Jaq and Simon have carved out a gorgeous space in an incredible woodland, and provided everything you need to make the most of it. They were so generous and helped with every detail. Our two young kids absolutely adored it and have talked about missing the hot tub, the camper van, and the woods since we left. We'll be back soon!

Staying at the secret garden was such a lovely experience. It was the perfect place to just unwind and be surrounded by nature. Such a peaceful environment with such great facilities, absolutely loved how cosy the bed is and the hot tub was the perfect temperature! Cooking outdoors was such a great experience and the hosts were so welcoming yet our privacy was very much respected. Will definitely come back again and recommend to family and friends!

Very private and secluded, everything you need. The hot tub is amazing and the kids loved the hammocks. A wonderful experience which I will remember always.

This glamping site is amazing! Pure relaxation. We turned up at 6pm on Friday, greeted instantly to a friendly face, who took her time to show us around and even helped us carry our things to our exclusive glampsite. The glampsite is lovely and clean, accommodation was clean, as was the hot tub. The potting shed had lots of games and various things you might need for the weekend and you could go in and borrow whatever you wanted. The children loved playing with the boules set and the croquet. The grounds is gorgeous and you are free to explore. We never left the site the whole weekend, the children were well entertained with exploring and of course the hot tub was a big hit.Last but not least the owners were super friendly and remembered the children's names when we did bump into them, which the children really appreciated. Owners let us get on with the weekend and if we did need them were right on hand to ask any questions. Of course we booked straight away for next year.

We have stayed in the Coppice Woodland at Guilden Gate Glamping several times now and it's an absolute gem of a place! Tucked away in some beautiful woodland it's secluded and there's so much space to enjoy. The sleeping options are brill – with the yurt and the camper van, both are cosy and warm. We love eating (and drinking!) round the big dining table, and cooking on the camp fire and pizza oven. It's equipped with everything you need and Simon and Jacqui are just so accommodating, and on hand nearby if you need anything. The use of a fridge in their nearby outhouse is a real plus.The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood fired hot tub, which is great in any weather. Perfect peace and tranquility, and not unusual to see a few deer in the nearby woods and you sit and relax.We are North Londoners and it's only an hour's drive, so we've found it a real treat to escape the city without having to spend hours on the road to get there. We're planning another visit in April, can't wait to go back!With the space you have, the location (near to shops and a pub) and the all round quality of the experience it's very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Great place! Would definitely recommend. Only 45 mins from Finsbury Park on the train aswell!
