Jaykays Dance Company

Fantastic company and lovely staff, it’s our little girl’s favourite part of the week and she loves coming home and showing us what she’s learnt.

My daughter started with Jaykays a week after her 2nd birthday, she’s now 7 and absolutely loves going to her classes. She has just taken part in her first show and what a show that was! Every single teacher puts their heart and soul into the classes each week, and every single week all I ever see are huge smiles both going into class and leaving class! It’s not just a dance school, it’s a family and I for one feel very blessed we get to be part of that, thank you Miss J and all of your wonderful team!

My daughter started in the Little Rascals class at 2 1/2 years old…. She absolutely loves it. The lessons are fun & welcoming. It’s the highlight of her week! Miss Sam is lovely & the kids are all engaged and happy

My two girls have been attending Jaykays for the last 11 years. The dance teaching is outstanding, my daughters love the classes, and have been lucky to have so many wonderful experiences from award days, dance shows, festivals, guest teacher workshops, and many other experiences, one of the most memorable and enjoyable was watching the joy their dancing brought to residents of a care home.Jaykays is so much more than a dance school, it’s a family community where incredible bonds and friendships are made. The teachers look after every student like their own.

I can’t thank Jaykays enough for bringing my son out of his shell and truly embracing his love of performing.My son loves to perform, but has always struggled with the stigma that attaches itself to The Arts (particularly dance), but since joining the boys only classes with Connor I’ve seen the most incredible change in him … He’s thriving and I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude to Jeren and her team for encouraging my son to do what he loves … despite what society says.A million thank yous to Jaykays xxx

My daughter has been attending Little Rascals since the day she turned 2 (now 4!).Little Rascals is genuinely the highlight of her week - we love that the class doesn’t just focus on one dance discipline, it’s a mixture of ballet, tap and general movement to music with a variety of props and musical instruments. Themes change each term for variety and classes have soft learning elements to them.We chose to start our daughter’s dance journey with Jaykays as the company has a great word-of-mouth reputation, the teachers have trained within highly regarded establishments and Jaykays is consistent in terms of syllabus and accreditations.Everything felt ‘right’ at our daughter’s taster session and has continued to do so over the last 2 years.

Jaykays has a really wonderful way to make you feel like a part of a family. My son has always loved to dance but didn't want to join any specific dance style class, then we found Jaykays boys! He loves going to classes and Connor is simply wonderful with the boys with the support of Shaun. So amazing for my son to have such brilliant male role models who love to dance. The showcase they put on recently made us so proud and developed my son's confidence to dance on stage. Thank you Jaykays for all you're doing!

Our daughter joined in recent months and loved doing the class from day one. She can be shy and reserved in these type of situations, but not in this class. I managed to drop her off inside, and stand out side to watch from day 1. It is now her favourite class of the week, and she looks forward to getting into her outfit each week! Miss Sam is really good with the kids.

Jaykays dance company has fabulous teachers all of which encouraged, supported and helped my daughter develop throughout her dance journey.
