Merlene was recommended to me to alter my bridesmaids dress. She was incredibly friendly and responsive to my emails. My dress needed a lot taken off of it but it was all finished in just over a week and looked great. I highly recommend using Merlene for a fast and reliable service at a great price!

Best seamstress I know. Merlene helped adjust all my groomsmen's and my wedding suit trousers in plenty of time before the big day. We all wouldn't have looked half as good without her :D

We found Merlene in a local facebook group when we were looking for someone to alter a few curtains for our living room windows. She responded very quickly when we first messaged her and she was very helpful from the beginning. The quote we got was very reasonable so we decided to go with Made by Merlene and we weren't disappointed. She got the curtains done in just over a week and they came out exactly as we wanted. We were happy that we could support a new, local business.I also got to meet her lovely dog, which was a bonus. :)

Merlene was able to very kindly fit me in for some last minute alterations on a bridesmaid dress. The alterations to the straps, bodice, and length were completed to a high standard within my short timeframe. I would definitely recommend her services!
