The Gym Group London Ilford Pioneer Point

(attending this gym for 1 yr + )First of all, most busiest gym i've ever been to. Arguably something that can't really be worked on but very key aspect.pros:- There is all sorts of equipment which smaller branches do not have- Most people are okay and quite polite in terms of gym etiquette ( male perspective however )- Staff are greatcons:- Pretty much forever busy, you will have to wait for certain things a lot of times- Weight section is a treasure hunt to find what you're looking for the way its very disorganised, albeit with so many people there its hard to do soIts still a good gym, or else I would trek far for another one, I think with just a bit more effort on ruling or creating a better environment amongst members would improve the gym a lot.

The current state of this gym has severely declined since it's easygym past. A lot of long time goers like myself share the same sentiment. Introduction to a lot of delinquents has made the gym unusable during peak hours and resembles a youth club for troubled children more than a gym. Clothes left unattended in the changing rooms as opposed to the provided lockers. Weight plates scattered all over the place. Staff need to do more to rid of inconsiderate gym goers.I'll end on a positive, there's a good variety of gym equipments and facilities including treadmills, free weights, sled, battle ropes, kettle bells and vending machines full of beverages.

Used to be my place of peace, but now its HEAVILY overcrowded with inconsiderate people and little kids who all have 100 sets left. Can’t even get a bench or even machine to do ANYTHING anymore. Such a disappointment as this gym was so important for my mental health, now I feel miserable and depressed every time I go. I wish they would put some regulations in place, I am Indian myself but this place has become as crowded and dirty as an Indian Train. This really discourages regular members such as myself from going there, spoke to the trainers about this and they all agree but are powerless to do anything due to poor management..DO BETTER!!!

During the week children seek shelter in the lower lobby, early on in the weekends you'll find homeless people napping in the stairwell or even the actual gym. Majority of the gym users are IT professionals" and live within the surrounding residential towers. However

Great gym, going there for the last 3 months. Opted for a PT for the very first time and it has been one of the best decisions I took for my health. @jaz_boom_pt, he is a great trainer and not only helps with the workouts and the diet, but also provides valuable feedback which helps me get better. One more thing, it is open 24x7, which in itself is great considering people working on different shifts.Overall, it has been a great experience.

It's alright but it's messy people leave weights in random places people do stupid things like vape in the gym or in the mens toilets. I feel like there isn't a strong presence from the members of staff so it seems like people do what they want.Some of the machines need some much needed TLC they seem old and not very well maintained. The rowing machine seats are wobbly and one of the seats stopped moving if your weight is not evenly distributed

I have been a long time member at this gym but unfortunately I had to leave due to certain members lack of gym etiquette. Most members are decent but equally there’s plenty who love to stare at a woman working out in 2023!It’s a good gym, bright & airy feel & decent equipment but as a female member the constant staring put me off. I was having more bad days than good even though I grew a thick skin.For a while I’ve been noticing no one tidied the weight section. The gym was a constant mess with weights lying around everywhere.Yes members need to put their weights away but the staff need to be present and be seen.If you’re a male then you’ll have no issues. But as a female I hope this gym doesn’t put anyone off from training.It’s only due to the demographic.I’m still with the gym group but in a different location and I love how nobody stares. I feel I can finally workout in peace.

The Gym Group offers affordable membership options with a wide range of equipment and convenient locations. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The 24/7 access is a major advantage for those with busy schedules. However

Its good but too many people in the busy time. The air that time feels unnecessary warm with stinky sweat smell. Toilets are clean and tidy. And the gym equipments on busy time are hard to find and get. As sometimes one person occupies more than enough equipment for himself. So this needs to be fixed.

Good size gym with many different areas and equipment. Can get rather busy at times, but this is to be expected.This use to be an old EasyGym and there are some remnant of this left behind in the entry point and in some equipment with is a tad better than normal Gym group stuff.The lift doesn't work and its a good few stairs up but you can't really complain about a gym that has stairs unless its your mega leg day and you have to walk back down.For the price, its a rather nice gym.
