I visited this pub in March 2022 for a wake. The pub is basic but clean and some of the furnishings could do with updating. However the staff could not have been more helpful. They put on a lovely spread, fresly made sandwiches, along with all the usual finger foods. Would recommend.

New landlord is a Liverpool supporting, moccasin wearing ball bag. He clearly bullies his staff at every opportunity even though he only has a couple of them left, as his chef/cook has abandoned ship. If you enjoy frozen food from Brakes Bros this is place for you.

Lovely pub lovely staff food spot on smashing suntrap for a landed garden doing friendly. And it's getting busier by the wk Sunday roasts which im looking forward to this wknd .

Absolutely terrible since the old landlady left the new management are terrible bullying staff in front of customers their chef walked out because they told him your a cook not a chef and ordered him to cook everything from frozen as fresh was not cost effective they were very abrupt and had a real bad attitude even more so towards staff they have lost their chef and their bar staff and they have only been there a few days the cleaning was absolutely terrible old food on floor dog ends in pub. DO NOT GO HERE SINCE ALI LEFT ITS NOT THE ALEX THEY HAVE RUINED IT THERE CHEF WALKED OUT ALL THEIR FOOD IS FROZEN NOW AS THE CHEF REFUSED. Do not go here there are plenty of much better pubs that do food in the local area avoid Alex all costsGreat choice from the owner to put these lot in, silly man oh well.The Alexandra Worthing 26lyndhurst road Worthing bn11 2DF

Used to be busy and do great food but only seem to do snacks now and always pretty empty, it's sad because ot has a lovely beers garden and lots of indoor space

Love this pub. Great food including their Sunday roasts 5*, great staff and friendly landlord and lady. Have made this our local. More recently Karaoke and quiz nights have started again. Booking at the moment if you want to come down. Try it you might like it!

Friendly staff. Not a great mix of beers but a good selection for an out if town pub near Worthing. Had to sit outside dye to smokers in our party, it's a Shane the out door heaters weren't working. Would go back again.
