Can't comment on the venue this time as my brother and myself were not allowed in due to not being students, even though others were without having to show proof of being students. I really cannot understand why the bouncer would lie, could have just said not tonight lads. When I questioned this then he pushed me on the chest twice but didn't like them being blocked by my hand. So then another bouncer came walking up and said he'd love me to have a go at him!!! How bizarre, I thought they were there for safety! Totally disgusting behaviour. I hope they end up losing their jobs because they don't deserve to wear the badge!!!

Fun atmosphere and cheap drinks. The shot, bomb and cocktail for £5 deal is decent. Just don't expect high quality. Floor is always sticky and there is sometimes a lingering vomit smell here. Toilets are in bad shape and have been for a while. Have found it hit or miss in the past year or so. Not as good as it was a few years ago.

Awful night, paid the ticket cost then had some drinks my friend who spilled one of his shots and then got promptly kicked out, right after my other friend an international student was trying to explain she was a student ( for a drinks deal). I was trying to explain it for her also but then I got kicked out??? Without a doubt not kicked out for being drunk, my other friend was also told by the bouncer he wasn’t that drunk but still not allowed in. Awfully rude and stupid situation with no way to talk to anyone.

In the club girls go round with Jaeger bombs. One of these girls bumped into me on the dance floor and split some drinks. The bouncer proceeded to drag me outside and charge me £15 for the drinks. Why carry drinks on a busy dance floor? Feels like a scam

Cheap drinks, vile doormen! A please and a thank you wouldn't go a miss. Do not demand things from me, basic respect. Also a toilet seat would be nice? Xx

Would give 0 stars if it was possible. Would not let my friend in due to her being disabled despite the fact she has been there plenty of times before. Absolutely disgusting.

I wouldn’t even give 1 star if I had a choice!!Went to Cucumara for some drinks on our works Christmas do just like we did last year. Queued up - refused us entry because we weren’t students apparently. Ace card up my sleeve - I’m actually a student too so student card and ID shown and I was told I could go in. Out of principle I didn’t, wouldn’t just leave my colleagues. Anyway, after this point there were several people given entry that weren’t students, we know because we spoke to them.Cucamara bouncers are rude and appear to have a God like complex but working in a customer facing environment when you’re that rude just isn’t appropriate.

Took my money for entry, refused to let me in, refused to give my money back, all because the bouncer thought a bottle opener key ring was a knife. I understand being stupid is a prerequisite for being a bouncer, but if you’re going to pay someone to look for knives you need to explain to them what a knife is
