Mocha Parade Medical Practice

I had to wait two weeks for my appointment, the doctor I spoke to was incredibly passive-aggressive, he would cut me off and he was very dismissive of my concerns. Situations like these are the reasons for multiple cases of misdiagnosis leading to death. I would strongly urge that nobody joins this practice.

I am disappointed with the level of service I have received from Mocha Parade Medical Practice. I visited their center to get registered when I first arrived in the UK, and they promised to get back to me in a few days. However, I did not hear from them after two weeks, so I reached out to them. They said that they could not find my records and asked me to register again.I did so, but I still did not hear back from them after another two to three weeks. When I contacted them again, they said that my records had been misplaced. I then submitted my records online, but it has been almost three months and I have still not heard back from them.I am concerned about the level of care I will receive if I need medical attention from this practice. I am also disappointed with the lack of communication and the apparent negligence of the staff. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Been registered with mocha parade 30 + years, brilliant gp and practice nurses /practitioners, a wonderful team especially lead by the wonderful Natalie, Amy and Jacob, Ash are helpful and nothing too much trouble and Patrick always available if needed - thankyou for everything

Waiting times far too long and unacceptable. They're far too slow and, on top of that ,the nurse told me I'm imagining symptoms which is totally unprofessional, even if I did imagine them which I didn't.

Terrible doctor, the worst service I have ever received! I had to wait 5 days for a telephone appointment. When I eventually got one the doctor was incredible rude and was just trying to get rid of me. He said his surgery don’t deal with that type of thing (which was a lie as they do), then said they don’t have my medical records, then said the nurse isn’t in to examine me so he can’t help, then said it’s not serious (which is also a lie). I eventually managed to beg him to help me and he gave me a prescription for something without even seeing me for a face to face appointment to make sure it was the correct medication or that I am well enough to have it. I will be raising a formal complaint. Avoid at all costs!!

I have been with this practice for more than 20 years, Dr Kassam and his staff all go above and beyond. Dr Kassam is truly a wonderful Doctor

Having been relatively healthy I had only had minimal contact with my Doctor, Doctor Kassam, for many decades. Then I had an accident and have severe physical injuries. His team kicked in brilliantly. The Doctor is of my era,old! But the team around him are young and completely competent. From receptionist, practice management, pharmacists, Doctors. All polite, friendly, helpful and most importantly, professional. I would implore anyone using this practices wonderful services treat them the same. Of course problems arise and mistakes get made, but keep calm and this team will help find the best solution. I am happy to recommend this surgery to anyone.

I have been a patient at this surgery and Dr Kassam for many years. I never had any issues before but in the last 6 months it has been terrible service.I order my monthly prescriptions through the chemist as required by the surgery and I repeatedly have medication missed, which is my diabetic insulin! I have to phone monthly to chase this up with the reception team and I get a response that it has not been requested and they will put through now and will take another 48 hours. I am being left without the insulin for a day or 2 and this is becoming a concern. I have raised a concern in the last month and I got attitude from the ‘assistant manger’ which i find her approach very unprofessional and like she doesn’t want to be bothered. The practice manager is never on site to raise a complaint to and told to put in writing which I have and never got a reply from Patrick neither.I am going to have to transfer out as the care we are receiving is very concerning if I can not get my monthly medication at time when requested in time frame. The Reception team seem to be new and need training on how to request a prescription or get competent staff. This is a shame because for the past many years I have always been cared for and not had many issues as I know mistakes do happen, but this surgery has gone down hill.

I have been attending this surgery for over 20 years.I have been well treated by all the staff and our wonderful nurse Claire, and office managers Patrick and Carol. I am always impressed, well satisfied, and happy with Dr Kassam’s management and personal treatment of all my medical needs.I believe these few poor reviews previous, are more due to the people who attended this surgery, than our #1 UK Doctor of the previous year.Please extend my continued gratefulness to all at Mocha Parade Medical Practice.
