Billing Off Road Show 1st-2nd July 2023

What's not to love about this place?!! The owners and organisers are absolutely amazing, easily my favourite off road show!

Elements of fun. However The Manager Sarah is quite rude. I've been for the past 3 years but wont be returning.Its branded as fun for all the family, the hottest day of the year was whilst we camped there. Despite numerous other people playing in the water butts and even tipping them in the process, she was rude to me and my children for filling miniature water pistols from them.

We attended on the 26th June after looking up on the website and asking on facebook about the show as we were a 2 1/2 hr drive we obviously didn't want to waste our time and money.Anyway, we turned up with 10&13 yr olds that could not have been more bored! Was advertised as a family show but 3 bouncy castles and a small kart ring only suitable for 4-6 yr olds is not family fun.We walked around the show" which took around 45mins and barely see anything other than a defender and even then it was full of bling (last time I knew LR made other models of off road vehicles and was hoping for ALL LRs from old to new)After dragging our heals trying to get in the mood we went to the off road course at 2.45

I would not give this place 1 star!I travelled 160 miles with my family after purchasing wekend camping tickets 3 months ago.We have been planning for this event since then purchasing numerous items needed for our trip.After setting off from liverpool we arrived atthe show to be refused entry to the site beacause of our accents and that we were from liverpool which was stated to us from securityNeedless to say my wife and 3 children all under 10 were very upset as we had been looking forward to this for months .I politely requested a refund for my camping ticket which was refused and i was told to put it in writing which i have done on friday and have scince had no reply to the numerous emails i have sentI am considering taking legal action to recover my costs incured this weekend including motorhome hire, fuel, another campsite to camp on and 3 very distressed childrenWhilst staying at another campsite we bumped into numerous familys also from liverpool who had encounterd the same problems whilst trying to get onto the campsite also with very upset childrenSHAME ON YOU BILIING OFF ROAD SHOWTHIS IS 2021 THERES NO ROOM FOR DISCRIMINATION IN THIS DAY AND AGE

Why would you waste money going to this field when you could attend the Land Rover International Show in Peterborough in September. I did attend and wont be returning again. It is just a mess with very little health and safety. I wouldnt advise people with kids visiting, as there were some very strange folk there this year that made me and my family feel very uncomfortable. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid

I have been here five times camping and I can say this is brilliant the last year I was here we had fun around the course in the field and I will again this year it is so peaceful and they try to make this place a good event for all the toilets and showers are clean and tidy and they try there best I will be back next year and hope to get the world record here this year well done and thank you will post pictures tomorrow today Saturday we are in the queue for the world record so hope all that entered that we can do it good Luke all that have entered

Well signposted so easy to find. Well laid out and good variety of trade stands. Didn't checkout motorsport stuff but loud and dusty and they seemed to be going OK. Good variety of goosander drink too. Judta bit smaller than I expected. Overall good event and recomended.
