Shop is fine, it's a shop, staff sound. Post office tho, avoid at all costs. Terrible, obnoxious staff no help. Can't provide basic service as they haven't even got any blue second class stamps! Like I said, shops fine, bit expensive but staff are polite and friendly. Do Not Go For Post Office you've been warned

I head down there once a week to use the Post Office , the lady behind the counter is very pleasant , if you want to avoid a short wait then just go early and you'll probably get to the counter straight away. Take with a pinch of salt any reviewer that can't spell queue properly.

The reviews reflect my experience as they are racist. No customer skills, rude and disrespectful. Also they are moody and don’t want to work. All they do is have a cigarette outside.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I have never been spoken to so rudely by other adults. Seems like both the female staff at the newsagents till need to grow up and educate themselves on how to talk respectfully to customers. I definitely won't be going there again! After reading other review I believe the staff were probably racist towards me too.

Rude lady behind PO counter. She needs a good lesson in customer services and general courtesy. If you can’t be pleasant and polite then you’re in the wrong job.

Staff are rude and never polite and complaining the cashiers tutted when i was next in the line when i did nothing to him some are nice but some are rude

Lack of service is terrible, just gone into the shop to be greeted with back in 20 minutes on the counter, what kind of service are you running here

I experienced racist, rude and childish behaviour by a woman working on the shop floor who claimed to be the manager. She kicked me out the shop twice because there were 9 people in the shop and only 6 were allowed, now that rule did not apply to the other 2 extra customers because they weren't asian, only I was asian so I got kicked out. While I was there she kept coming upto me saying it was my fault there were too many people in the shop, and people like me shouldn't even be allowed in the shop. What I found really disgusting was that she kept telling every customer what happened. I even ended up making a small clip of the whole incident, it's a shame I can't upload it on here for people to see. I did phone customers service and filled a forum on mccolls website about this racist behaviour I experienced but surprise surprise, no one got back to me.

Judging by the previous reviews it must be a normal standard for them to RUDE & RACIST! You would think in 2022 you would walk happily into any shop without judgemental views all staff are grumpy the skinny manager think she knows 'customer service' & the lady with glasses well she isn't worth anyone's breath. 1.70 for a 500ml bottle of water but yet the lady says we are the cheapest for ciggarettes who cares? Management feel free to reply and contact me might be able to teach you guys a thing or two about customer service.

Shop.... ok at best!!! Staff.... ok at best!!! Post office.... worst po ever to go to.. 1 person behind the counter & 10 in the que!!! Takes ALL day just to get a bloody stamp!!! P/o won’t give shoo any to sell over counter!!! Ridiculous!!!
