Dudley Lodge

Dudley lodge is the best place to go if you like to be independent, at first it is a bit intense but as you gradually go further in your assessment it gets alot easier and it will feel like your flying threw it. As I was so far away from my home it was really hard not being able to see my family but the staff where so welcoming and respected you like you was living in your own home, they are the most funniest bunch of people I’ve met I would really recommend this place for whoever is going threw situations like this I’m gonna miss Dudley lodge and all it’s crazy staff

This job could be for you if you enjoy a fast pace of work being able to problem solve, and work independently.Demands of the centre is the term preferred when busy and staff have other commitments this can sometimes lead to tiredness for staff however some staff make it a fun environment.Due to a new manager a lot has changed over the last few years, these changes would benefit you if you have no qualifications. Or experiences training is given in the first week Which is really important due to the nature of the job which is making sure families receive fair assessments.There are options to working nights and days if you enjoy working independently then I would suggest the night shifts would suit as they suit me .There are only ever two staff present at night, again great for those who like to problem solve and enjoy working independently.Or if you prefer working in a larger team as the the day shifts offer 5 plus staff for 12 families if you prefer working in a team for example three staff with families 24/7 another staff member with a 80/20And two members of staff working with 9 families .The job has many demands and the shifts can be tiring but you do get 9 hours rest between shifts and often staff are rewarded with pizza and praise for their hard work which is really appreciated

All the staff are nice and helpful. The groups have been good and the activities are fun. My baby enjoyed sensory play and has helped with his development. The only thing that was difficult was having our bathroom and bedroom separate to our lounge.

I've worked here for years & I can honestly say it's the most supportive place I've worked (I came from the NHS). There's a caring atmosphere & it feels like a nurturing place for the staff & families & I like that I get to work flexibly. The nature of the work isn't always easy, but it's rewarding being part of something making a difference in the community

My relative was sent to this address to give support with her newborn. They supported for the first week then, almost turned against them. Now, our baby has been put in care due to the lack of help and support guaranteed to them.

I was at Dudley Lodge in Coventry with my son in September 2020 for 12 weeks. I found the staff very helpful and caring, before I came to the centre I did what you would normally do I googled the lodge. I was so scared about coming to here after reading the reviews on line. But trust me Dudley Lodge is an excellent place to come for you to have your assessment the staff where so supportive and I learned so much from there that helps me be the best mum I can be. My son is 17 months old now and his doing fantastic. Please don't let the views turn you off of this amazing assessment centre . I want to say a big thank you to Hollie, Katie S, Kim, Anne and all the staff at Dudley Lodge, you are all amazing and you all do a fantastic job.Lots of love fromChanelle and baby Roshane xxxxxxx

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, we’ll where do I start so I went to this place straight out of hospital with my daughter, its like this place sets you up to fail…..I did everything I could for my daughter there was nothing wrong with my parenting but apparently risky people I asked my tcm to help me do more work on it so I could keep my daughter and it didn’t get doneWhen you ring to do a task they don’t always come up also they don’t always do there hourly checks that they should do some of the staff are so rude it’s ridiculous!!If I was you please avoid this place all they want is your kids to be taken away! DEFINITELY AVOID!!!
