The grounds and the forest adjoining are perfect for a nice circular walk, although make sure you bring walking shoes if it's been raining.

This is a marvelous building. The staff are nice and helpful. You can find rabbits and squirrels in the garden in the morning. If you are lucky enough, you may even see deers.

Lovely to explore the well tended gardens. Fantastic little additional adventure on the forest walk. With some really stunning architectural prices to discover. The sun dials are amazing, crisp detailing on 400+ year old stonework. More hidden sculpts hint at the monastery that was here before.

Lovely grounds to sit and enjoy the surrounding gardens, house and river .Circular walk suitable for able walkers, enjoyed by dog walkers and families out walking with pushchairs.Part of the wood decorated with fairy doors and mystical things" for children to enjoy.A very nice way to spend a couple of hours."
