Fiona and Andrea provided excellent practical advice to help with the recall and lead training of my slightly loopy ESS, who had spent her puppyhood and adolescence under lockdown measures.We were initially booked into a group classes, but Covid measures prevented them, but Fiona was kind enough to provide 1-1 instruction in a nearby park and lots of online written advice to reinforce the face to face instruction.As a follow up in summer we booked into another class, which was disrupted by Covid quarantine, but Andrea gave us 1-1 very practical advice on another park. We are making good progress, thanks to Andrea!I can thoroughly recommend Wharfedale Training for their professional and sensible approach to dog training.Thank you again, Fiona and Andrea!

We had a great time attending Wharfedale Dog Training for adolescent dogs. Fi gave us lots of tips and advice on specific training points and we had plenty of time to practice and review what we had done. Both dog and owners benefitted from the training classes, feeling much more relaxed now about training our dog.

I have attended both Puppy and Adolescent Classes and I cannot rate them highly enough. Fiona is an excellent teacher and very patient when my puppy needed extra help. Whenever I have had an issue with my puppy I have emailed her and she has gone above and beyond to help. 100% recommend.

We have just completed our 5 week puppy class and I cannot recommend Fi and her team enough. I have learnt so much not only training wise but reading body language and cues which has helped my dog and I form a deeper bond. Fiona provided great 1 to 1 sessions at our home and also puppy classes for our active puppy. We were able to involve our children in the training too which has helped consistency. All sessions were fun, focussed on our needs and any questions answered.

We attended the course for ‘adolescent’ dogs as there were no classes available for puppies at the time.We found the course very informative with videos supplied afterwards as reminders of what we had been doing which were also exceptionally useful.The course itself was held in the church hall - this was not easy as many years before a previous pup had the pleasure of classes outside which were far more realistic. The best was made of a bad job and we found it particularly useful to have the distractions in the hall with opportunities to overcome them.Fiona definitely has a way with dogs/puppies, everything she taught us made perfect sense & who knows why we didn’t do all these things before she suggested them!We would certainly recommend Wharfedale to anyone thinking about it but also suggest to limit the treats for their dog prior to going on a training day or they’d end up with a very tubby little friend!!!

Fi is great. We attended an online puppy class and she was very supportive with all of us. We have also had some one-to-ones with her. She is generous with sharing her ideas, knowledge and providing practical tips to try with our dogs. Thanks!

We have just completed the adolescent course with Fi. Ronnie was very responsive to all the elements of the course and has made excellent progress. Ronnie became excited when we arrived as he enjoyed the course as much as I did. A must for anyone with a new puppy especially if you are first time owners of a dog. Would highly recommend to anyone with a dog between 18 weeks and 18 months.

Fantastic service from Fiona, she is very knowledgeable and patient. She takes the time to understand the needs of both our dog and us. We've undertaken group classes and had 1-2-1 sessions and I would really encourage anyone thinking of booking to do it, I highly recommend Wharfdale dog training!
