I used to go to their branch at division street and always enjoyed the experience. Now that they have a bigger place, it's even more enjoyable and there are a lot more things to choose from their menu. Since the last lockdown, my boyfriend and I have once twice and the food and service are both amazing as always. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the food is always fresh. The food gets served quite quickly and you can also see them preparing it. The tori -kara (japanese fried chicken thighs) are always a must try. Absolutely beautiful! Our visits are never complete without ordering this. I also always order the takoyaki (squid balls) which was what made me a regular for let's sushi in the first place. They have a variety of sushi as well that I'm working my way on. Their food is also reasonably priced especially for a Japanese restaurant in a city centre. If you're looking for an authentic Japanese restaurant with a good ambiance and reasonably priced but amazingly delicious food, this is the place to go. :) Already booked to go back in July. Can't wait!

New restaurant that is still finding its feet.This brand new Japanese restaurant that opened last week is located in the west one plaza on West Street, around a 10 minutes walk from the city centre.This restaurant is a fancier looking than it’s Division Street and Meadowhall counterparts.This branch is a much needed upgrade from the others, there is more seating available and the menu is larger. The Division Street branch is too small and it gets lots of customers, I’m glad they saw this great opportunity to expand because I’m a fan of let’s sushi.I ordered the spicy salmon sushi which comes in 8 pieces costing £4.60 and the spider roll which comes in 5 pieces costing £7.80.The food was freshly prepared and tasted great. However, the service was a big let down. I ordered my food first before another table and their food arrived first, I had to wait about 15-20 minutes after their food arrived before I received mine. They also forgot about my spider roll order so it had to get prepared, I waited another 15 minutes for the food to arrive.Overall, the food was good but service was very poor. I’ll give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt that they’ll pick up their service when they get more experience, otherwise I would’ve given a 2 star rating. I’ll come back again but I hope service would have improved.

Lovely little sushi place, cosy and inviting. Lots of different sushi and hot dishes are served here, including ramen and tempura, both delicious! They also had alcohol-free cocktails which was a bonus. It’s helpful that the vegetarian and vegan options are labelled. It’s a little on the pricey side, but it was lovely for a catch up dinner with a friend.

We love the food here. Tasty, lots to choose from, a bit for everyone.Beautiful atmosphere and ambience. The waitress was wonderful as always though the waiter a little stern.Very attentive to us.Good drinks menu too

Beautiful interior and lovely staff! The food was very nice, a bit on the expensive side personally. All the food arrived similar time, the hot food was piping hot and the sushi arrived perfect temp. I would recommend the salmon set (great value) and the katsu curry (large portion). The age tofu (£5.20) was lovely as well just a little expensive personally.My friends and I ordered a lot, and spent roughly £20 each.What we ordered:Age tofu, wasabi prawns, tori-kara (japanese fried chicken), Hokkai roll, salmon set, chicken katsu curry, spicy tonkotsuOverall would rate the meal 4.1/5.

The food is exquisite, and it is not expensive. My girlfriend and I have been eating there for four days. Their sushi is my favourite, but she likes pumpkin cake the most. The environment is very clean and each table is isolated by the plastic film to protect the customers from cross-infection. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Very tasty. In my view it’s not the most authentic Japanese food, yet you’d expect that for the price. But it’s decent enough for when you want a basic restaurant style Japanese experience.

It was excellent! We ordered avocado and salmon sushi along with chicken katsu curry and seafood udon. The katsu was my favorite, it was so flavorful and the curry sauce was very creamy. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the rice was very good too! The sushi and udon were very nice as well. The place looks pretty too.
