I'm really surprised they have a 2.3 rating. I arrived (within business hours) and someone was at the counter within a couple of minutes. The young man behind the counter was really helpful .. even helping me to choose my colours (which have turned out great btw!). He even carried my 10 tins and all my kit out to the car for me. Can't fault them. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

The Johnstone's staff are professional and friendly with excellent customer service,they will guide you through the process of mixing and choosing your paint, they can match your paint to a kaleidoscope of colour, the options are limited only by your imagination.The staff will also advise you about the most suitable brush/ roller without any fuss. There is limited parking but usually available,this is a fantastic company to trade with.

Eye-wateringly expensive.A friend suggested they can mix up Farrow & Ball colours in their own emulsion for a lower cost so popped in today. Farrow & Ball charge around £100 for a 5L can of emulsion, asked at the desk for a price on 5L of Johnstone's perfect matt emulsion mixed up to required colour - £142!!!I presume trade get lower trade prices, but if you are a member of the public this place isn't for you!

DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!Entered the store just on 5pm tonight. Stood around for 5-10 minutes awaiting service (counter staff busy) only to be told 'We shut at 5pm; we're now closed. No apology, no explanation why I wasn't served on entry (before 5pm). I was kicked out at 5:05pm; Never again!!TAKE your business ANYWHERE but here, I thought all the 'Jobs Worths' had been phased out in the 80's; obviously a dinosaur is still alive and kicking in the Kingston Bridge branch!!!Such a pity as the previous night another guy was Sooo helpful.

Staff are rude, belittle you for wanting to buy the products they supply, and on that note the paint is terrible, may as well, just guess what colour it's gonna be, because it's not what their colour swatches tell you.
