Stone Carver Katherine Worthington

I attended a beginners letter carving course on Saturday. I would recommend this to anyone who has thought about taking this up as a hobby or more. The tuition is thorough, starting with basics and working up to carving your own piece. Credit to Katherine with her tireless enthusiasm and ability to be there for all of the students. Mrs. Worthington has repaired our a plaster bust.The head broke off during our moving.Katherine pinned glued together and repainted to match the original finish.Now, it is hard to believe the bust was broken.We are truly grateful to Katherine for this fantastic job.

Fantastic introduction to stone carving! KT has an amazing knowledge and you'll learn how to handle the tools and materials from the off. She's a wonderful teacher and makes a tremendous effort to ensure that everyone gets to grips with the craft and the most out of the day. Thoroughly recommended and well worth investing the time and money. Can't wait to go back and learn more!
