We have been eating here for a few years and has been a while food was OK. Not the standard it used to.be we were greeted with °no fried food so no fish or chips° it cost 1.47 for a small tall glass I expected a pint for that. We got steak pie but the meat was dry the veg was OK.. Once finished we went to pay to be told the card machine was not working so had to go find a cash machine to come back and pay. It's disappointing as this was a great place to eat but we won't be back

lovely meal today at elizabeths with a group of friends, great food, lovely attentive staff, will definitely go back..

Sad to say it is not up to the excellent standard to when Elizabeth owned it my family have been coming here for over 50 years and the food was cold dry and not up to the specification of which it was even just a few years ago also the building could do with some repairs which is understandable up to a point with it being an old building.

A Good old fashioned English Restaurant. Very much a traditional restaurant that does excellent Fish and Chips and Beef Steak Pie. The Chips are proper and substantial. Long may it last.
