First time in a pub! Didn't disappoint... I really enjoyed it here, the food was great (enjoy my badly taken pictures, didn't do it justice)For what we paid it was fantastic in my mind. Their Stawberry Cocktail was delicious too.The vibe was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend going here.

Worst food ever..ordered a burger ..staff was nice friendly and burger arrived very fast...why because it was freezing cold. Prepared obviously a lot earlier in the day. I sat down at a table that had not be cleaned from previous customer... nice waitress arrived with burger and chips you could see it was cold..l tested one chip to confirm. Put it back on the plate and left..did not argue or try to get my money back just walked away. What was the point they knew what they served. Presentation put me in mind of the worst hospital food ever. Being diabectic l had to get something to eat.. but just left that place and will never ever go back. You carnt knock the staff they were nice and friendly... its such a shame really because it is a lovely convenient place. My advice is avoid it.. unless you just want a salad and good luck with that.

The pub was quiet when I visited but did pick up while i was there. I was greeted with a smile at the bar which was very nice and professional. my order was dealt with efficiently and I enjoyed a few jars of the ales they had on tap. Overall a nice pleasant evening at wetherspoons in Newtown Abbot.

First time in this weatherspoons the place looked a little tired. The tables were quite worn. The food was good, the service was slow as there was only one person at the bar when we were trying to order. The tables needed to be cleared and there was plenty of food on the floor. The Atmosphere was good you can hear your conversation without music drumming away in the background. It was quite busy .

I've order food in here a few times not worth the money... if I want a cheap microwave meal I go tescos or asda that have much better quality that weatherspoons meals how anyone can enjoy them beats me but than again people have no taste these days as they mostly eat macdonalds enough said. The staff are friendly and polite have good ales on and the manager here is never very happy preharps in my view she should either resign or retire..

Large mixed grill. Yuck! Gammon was more fat then meat. Egg was hard. No choice how steak was good, so hard & chewy.Tables had been wiped but sticky & still had crumbs etc on.Sat in booth area. Seating was black with dirt.Diet Pepsi was flat. Waitress took it to get changed, was not brought back so had to ask for it.No toilet roll in the ladies!Do yourself a favour & go somewhere else with your hard earned money!

Nice central location. Food was all very well cooked. Bar staff very helpful and kind. Floor staff are rude. I asked the lady politely to take my starter plate away when she delivered the main to be told that she did not want to take the plates away and just walked off. The table was small and had to move the plates myself. Only to then get disgruntled looks from her every time she passed by the table as well as to tell other staff who then started to stare which made the occasion not a pleasant experience. She had no problems clearing other guests tables.

Pretty good spoons, in a poor area pub wise, good food and range of ales, toilets are poor, with broken fittings, needs to promote excellence, rather than dumbing down to the level of other pubs in the town.
