I have really bad experience with this garage I took my van for Mot ended up paying £700 for just MoT which he said the van front wheel beans is noisy which was not noise, and apart from that he never call me to tell me this issue of the van before even deciding to go forward. They just ripping people off to make money i would not advice anyone to go there for Mot because you end up paying over £700 just for Mot

Stay away. Ruined my car and gave no explanation. Don’t charge much, but i do know why. Budge is an old cheater and liar. Will lie straight into your face dragging job and doing nothing. Now I can scrap my car.

AVOID AVOID AVOIDHad the misfortune of having my clutch replaced here for them not The snapped and stripped bolts in the gearbox mount bracket itself would suggest the bolts have been overtightened/stripped and the probable cause to the entire failure. The main anchor/support bolts which x1 have snapped have allowed for the gearbox to drop/twist and for the rubber to be ripped out of its housing. In turn causing the 2nd main bolt to be ripped out of its threads causing (if not over tightened) the collapse of the complete n/s of the engine/box.The dropping down of the entire engine/box on the n/s with only the driveshaft stopping the fall out of the entire engine by dropping onto the vehicles subframe. basically my car is still in blackpool 2 months later as cant find the parts

0/5 Joke of a garage. Circus. Unreliable, no knowledge or skills. Put insignia in there for head gasket Nov 2020 and picked up Jan 2021 with check engine lights on, leaking oil, leaking petrol! and faulty water tank cap. Car is literally ruined by them. I've been picking car and returning 5 times. Owner (Budge) advise was to take it somewhere else and take him to court if I want my money back. Avoid at all cost. Place should've been shut down for that kind of service.

The second time I went, for an intermediate service, they didn't tighten the oil tank bolt properly, and I had to top up oil twice before taking it back to them a few days later. They put it up on the ramp and identified the bolt hadn't been tightened properly. There was oil everywhere. They tightened it up and then I asked Budge if he could reimburse me for the 2x oil topups I had done. He gave me the money but told me not to bother coming back again. Shame really cos they are very competitively priced and despite the mistake I was happy to go back there again.

Today I had the pleasure of visiting budget auto limited.David’s knowledge and expertise are second to none, he was swift and resourceful in repairing my car and provided me with a top quality service - something that is very difficult to find these days.Other garages these days will rob you blind, but these lads did not. They’re fairly priced and the staff are beyond competent.I will 100% be a returning customer

Not often you meet a spanner man you can trust. Ignore the idiot with the bad review. I do most of my own work and wouldn’t be bringing Budge the big jobs all the way from Wigan if I thought otherwise.

Budge Autos have either lied about a simple push start issue (to get more money down the line?) OR aren’t trained well enough to push start a car. Full story below:Today I had a terrible experience with this garage. My dad took my car here for its mot retest (fixed a small rust issue that it failed on first time) at 3.30pm. He handed over the keys to them and a few minutes later they came back and told him the car wouldn't start - even though he'd just driven it all the way there with no problem. I have no idea what they could do to make it not start, when it's been starting fine for months! They then checked the battery and said that was fine. They also push started it and that didn't work, so they said it can't be the starter motor either. They then said they'd send an electrician out to check it, who checked with computer said no issues coming up there either. After this, my dad asked them to help him get it started somehow and he'll pay whatever they need so he can just get the car home. They said they'd send someone out again to help - but they never did and he just waited. He went in 3 more times to remind them and they said 'we'll send someone' each time but they never did...and he waited in the freezing cold for an hour altogether till someone came out to help. He's 62 years old and should have been helped immediately, especially as the car stopped working when handed to them. It broke under their care.I had to personally call the garage 4 times during work to tell them to help my dad like he asked and they also promised me each time that they'd go and help him...but didn't actually help until the 4th reminder from me!Anyway, finally at 5:15pm, someone went out to help him again - my dad had been there for 1.5 hours at this point. They tried to push start again and it didn't work. They then said 'there's nothing we can do' and left him.I had to finish work and go to meet him at the garage to figure out what to do. I couldn't get there until 6:30 pm so my dad had to wait another hour in the cold. We tried my RAC breakdown cover and they said itd take at least 2 hours to come, which we couldn't do as my dad was freezing at this point. So I then had to pay £300 to get an out of hours mechanic to come and even look at it. He came at 7pm and for an hour tried all the fuses etc. Due to the garage already trying push starting twice, we didn't try this with the new mechanic initially, as we told him they tried it twice and said it didn't work. But in the end, after an hour, we were desperate and thought 'let's give it a go'. We push started it and it worked FIRST TIME. Somehow, the 2 mechanics from the garage who tried push starting earlier couldn't do it - when they're supposed trained professionals...yet we did it at the first attempt. They had told my dad it wasn't the starting motor when it actually was just that. Their advice cost me £300 for nothing...and cost my dad 5 hours waiting in the freezing cold when all it needed was a correctly done push start. All after the car wouldn’t start UNDER THEIR ‘CARE’.If we knew they didn't know how to push start a car, we would have done it ourselves straight away. I don't know who these guys are but they were rude to my dad, didn't help him for a long time when they said they would AND they lied about the starter motor being fine, which cost me a £300 call out, when it just needed a push start. They have either lied about the jump start problem to get more money down the line (fake a different more expensive problem etc) or aren’t trained well enough to push start a car. I don’t know.I just can’t see how mechanics can’t push start a car correctly. Alongside lying multiple times about helping my 62 year d dad and leaving him alone for hours.
