There is an article in the Evening News detailing an ongoing problem I am having with Rodents in my Loft. All three pest control reports point to the source of the problem and it does not appear to stem from my home as the source. Arcon Housing were first made aware of this issue in April 2022, however they say in the Manchester Evening News that they were not aware of the issue until October 2022. This conflicts with written evidence I have from them. I bought my Arcon home in a hurry as I needed somewhere to live following my divorce. Women generally do not come out of divorce in a good financial position (I didnt). I truly hope that the photo in the M.E.N of dead rodents in my loft Arcon have taken to heart. I worked my whole life for my home. If Arcon had not floundered around for 15 months when first made aware of this issue. Matters would not have reached the state of disrepair and substantial health risk they have now. Every night I am sleeping under a loft containing dead rodents. They are now (supposidly) putting the damage right to my home. I have asked them to replace the affected flooring due to rodent droppings falling through the loft hatch and into the wood graining. Their response seemed to suggest that I was in some way behaving dishonestly to obtain new flooring. Motified I said I would buy my own flooring. All their conversations about fixing my home have felt as if they are doing me a great favour. Stated in my lease it says that I have the right to quiet enjoyment of my home. This has not been my experience with them for the last 15 months. No one should have to sleep under dead rodents in a loft. Please read the article in the Manchester Evening News. Never please get a house with them am tenant and am stock with them now please am warning you think twice before u get housed by them

Maintenance of properties and grounds where I live are excellent.There is no help from manager on issues of antisocial behaviour.

I live in a shared ownership property part owned by Arcon. It was beautiful when I moved in and all the gardens well maintained. This is not the case now. Depressing is how I would describe it. They used to do regular drive bys to see if each garden was neat and tidy. That doesn't seem to happen now.

Useless at dealing with complaints….in fact they DON’T bother about you

Customer service Team are very very helpful, great housing association to be with, repairs completed quickly and to a high standard!

I would like to say poor customer service but when you don't get any at all it's non existent
