Turnberry Caravan Ayrshire

We stayed friday to monday & here are my views:PROS - Views are amazing; Caravan we stayed in was lovely & big. Alwin, who done just about every job going, was exceptional. The owners of different caravans were lovely. These are the reason it's a 3 star and not a 1 or 2.CONS - Shop" if you can call it that isn't well stocked

I was a guest & still felt annoyed with the swimming pool. Which was cold & would be open soon when the water heater was fixed, which was the next day & was the more likely outcome. Our time slot was slightly out, with the previous days problems not an issue. Walking back to the caravan the lady at the restaurant asked if we were going for the fathers day meal. No said I she nevertheless recited the menu & said it along with a pint was free. From no quickly changed to yes , never look a gift horse & all that. After hanging out towels etc. back for the free meal, which was only free for fathers all others had to pay. The manager & the lady from the restaurant were not in agreement on charges. We paid-others left . Nice enough site, a lot of weeding needed doing & some painting

Nice caravan site west coast of Scotland nearest town Girvan. Struggled with mobile data poor 4g signal.Can pay for wifi which i was not willing to pay.Nice welcoming people at the site.

Lovely place friendly staff, great location for quiet holiday with the family a bit hard to get served this weekend but had a gala event so was extremely a busy.

A lovely holiday park for peace and quiet. No entertainment but lots of busier towns nearby. Although it stated there was a sauna here, there isn't one, just a small swimming pool. Lots of country lane walks including a 1 and a half hour loop walk back to the site (20 minutes of which is walking beside a dual carriageway but safe enough) nice views of Ailsa Craig and a nice cafe/shop at the entrance to the road leading to the site. Historic sites also nearby.

It's okay but if you have kids then it's probably not the best caravan park to go to. The bar is where you get your food and its extortionate with only 1 girl doing everything.

Clean and friendly enough. The staff are great, but no entertainment on at all. The height of summer. Really let's this caravan site down. Swing park for kids, very poor. Met a lot of friendly people, all saying the same thing. You go on holiday for fun. This is not the place for fun. We paid a lot of money. Club House doesn't open until 5pm, swimming pool closes at 4pm, I mean come on, who is running this place. You are killing it.

Quiet and peaceful. Nothing to do on site but towns not far. Good for walks if you like that sort of thing.

Great caravan site for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Views beautiful. But small entertainment club ,shop and swimming pool. Has small play area for kids.

Very nice and clean only problem was pillows were smelly But overall very good
