Just spent 4 days staying in Oak Lodge. The lodge was superb. The fishing was great. The beautiful location was very peaceful and the owners very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return!

Members only fisheries with a great choice of fishing on 6 very different waters after being a member here for 3months now and fishing here plus spending some time to actually look around all 6 waters the one thing that seems to be a problem for me is that quite a lot of the designated swims are totally un fishable due to lack of maintenance especially on beacon which is slowly being lost to overgrown nature,this seems a shame as this fishery could be a lot better than it is.

Beautiful place to fish with several varied lakes in terms of stock. Does not need restocking at all - not a muddy puddle full of F1s I agree, but if you prefer something that requires a bit of skill and watercraft, then the rewards are there to be had!

5 well stocked pools, great fishing in quiet peaceful surroundings. Beautiful lodges onsite.

Excellent fishing on all the lakes, lakes are pretty close to each other and the pegs are very safe. If your looking for a good days fishing I would highly recommend joining the club.

We stayed at Crammond Holiday Lodges here for a week and the husband fished 3 times while we were there. He was impressed with the quality, variety and number of fish that he caught. The lakes are very attractive and well stocked. You have to be a member here or staying at Crammond to fish, there are no day tickets.

This season has been challenging to say the least, not sure why but the extreme weather could be the deciding factor, apart from that, previous visits have shown why this fishery is one of the best in Lancashire.

Excellent weekend here, good fishing, friendly host and the wooden lodges are top class. Would definitely recommend - along with local taxi company A2B taxis if you're planning on eating out and don't want to drive.
