I have recently completed a 8 week course that has been put on by the stronghold for Smiths RFCThe 8 week block was very well planned out and fully supportive with some excellent coaches. Would 100% recommend joining up and giving it a go.

I have only positive things to say about the Stronghold Personal Training Hub facility. As soon as you arrive there is a friendly atmosphere and a community spirit. The facility has lots of new, top of the range equipment and a range that allows you to do all training types.I have completed some personal training sessions with Tom, and have seen lots of benefits. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of strength and conditioning and has helped me to enhance my performance in sport whilst also helping me to protect myself from injury. Tom has a great combination of patience but also pushes you to really progress.I have also participated in regular group strength and conditioning sessions with my rugby club. These have been led by Kylie, who again is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped all, no matter what experience level, to improve our lifting techniques. The sessions are clearly programmed to allow us to progress and are specific to our sport. While all the sessions have a clear purpose, they are always fun and have definitely developed the team spirit within the squad.Overall I have always been incredibly happy with my experience at the Stronghold and will continue to use it for all my training.

I’ve been training with Dave and the team at the Stronghold gym for a few months now and I cannot recommend the gym enough. I joined initially with an injury I was seeking to repair and a desire for some general PT. The quality of the training has been exceptional. My injury has been resolved through a meticulous training plan, that hasn’t compromised other goals that were set. Feeling the results already.PT sessions are enjoyable, because they are done right, and I have a high level of confidence in the training I am receiving. It’s worth the pain!Highly recommended!

The Masters Class is a fun way of people of a certain age getting together to get fit. Small classes mean a close interaction with the trainer, who is able to ensure the exercise is done correctly so you not only benefit from it but the risk of injury is minimised.During my short time with these classes following knee surgery I have regained my strength and mobility, particularly in my joints.I would highly recommend these classes to anyone who is intimidated by, or fearful of normal classes due to the level of intensity because of age related weaknesses or injury.

I've been training here for a while now, and it's a really great facility. Everyone is made welcome regardless of fitness level or body type, and the focus is doing what you can do, rather than what you can't, & making progress on your own personal goals. There is so much variety, in equipment and training that I'm in no danger of getting bored or demotivated.

Having been a PT for over ten years, and settling down in the Cheltenham area, it’s great to be able to train clients in a facility that is well looked after, fully equipped for both functional and isolation work, and have gym owners that care about their trainers. Dave and Tom do a great job at maintaining this facility and would highly recommend it to any trainer looking to expand their business! 5 stars all round!

The Personal Training Hub
I came to The Personal Training Hub after having been in intensive care for over a month and for over three weeks of that time being in induced coma. During my time in hospital, I had suffered damage to one of my shoulders when being moved prone and when discharged I could barely walk and had multiple issues with movement and stamina. When I first met with Dave, he described to me how we would go about getting me my mobility and flexibility back and then move onto strengthening on top of that.Over the past months I have seen an amazing change in what I can achieve and continual improvements in my recovery time whilst also feeling like I have more energy and able to do more day to day. Dave has kept the sessions challenging and enjoyable helping me to understand the importance of moving properly and not relying on the wrong muscle sets whilst also helping me understand what I can do in days not at the gym to just keep building my flexibility day on day. Would happily recommend The Personal Training Hub to anyone looking for a personal service as it is really good quality, personalised and at a good price.
