Rock Hub - The hub of indoor roped rock climbing in South Essex | We have 16 lines of roped climbing, 10 metres high. Top Roping, leading and two auto belays. So you can climb on your own! A small bouldering area, Beast Maker, Power box, and a Campus Board. Come down to check us out.

My two boys age 12 and 8 tried out the Home Ed rock climbing club today, and both really enjoyed it… one LOVED it actually! Tom, the instructor, was so great with them, really patient and kind. My 12 year son is autistic and struggles trying new things, and with the sensory inputs of ‘loud places’ like that, but Tom let him take it all in his stride, and my son has come away feeling really good about the experience… AND has asked to go back next week! 10/10 from us!

Excellent climbing wall, very friendly staff. The clubs are good, for adults and kids. Good mix of routes, a couple walls on auto belay, small bouldering wall also. Recommend! (Assisted taster sessions £15)

My 7 year old boy had a fantastic introduction to climbing and both of the instructors were very friendly and encouraging for the kids. Thoroughly recommended.

Small but perfectly formedGreat use of a limited space, loads of routes to be going at.Bouldering, top roping, and lead/sport climbing available.Overhangs remind me of Kryton's forehead; very... angular.Very friendly and helpful staff

Excellent facility with great staff. Incredibly welcoming, highly driven staff who motivate and encourage. Whilst the climbing wall area is quite small, it provides so much! Lots of different challenges to be taken on and conquered. I booked 2 x 1:1s with Dave for my daughter as an intro... he was fab, however don't expect to be let off, he loves to challenge you (but in a fun and encouraging way).

Great for adults as well as kids. The Rock Hub team is very welcoming and knowledgeable, they are always happy to help and super smiley! There is a great range of routes to try out roped climbing as well as a small bouldering area that’s good to warm up or cool down with. I’ve really enjoyed attending the socials on Mondays and Fridays and getting to know a variety of people as well as learn from their experience. I would highly recommend visiting Rock Hub!

Great team and everything about this place is lovely. Loads of routes and often reset to keep it interesting and challenging! A year ago I was afraid of heights and now I wish I had more time to come and climb and all that thanks to this team, and mainly Dave who convinced me to try out climbing. Thanks guys!
