It’s always difficult leaving your loved pets with someone you don’t know but, after chatting to Georgina, I felt comfortable that they were in good hands. Georgina kept me updated regularly with lovely photos and videos of my two mini dachshund’s and she was happy to continue with their normal routine (for example sleeping in the bedroom!) They were both very happy as was I. I highly recommend her!

Dave did a great job at finding some very good possibilities for house sitting at the last minute, which meant we could go on holiday. Ania was our housesitter who looked after our home and animals (dog, cat, bird, pet rats) well and kept them all happy.

Alan was punctual, responsible, and paid great attention during our hand-over. Which involved a flock of rescue hens, several rescue hedgehogs, and a large rescue Norwegian Forest Cat.He came a day early to get his eye in, and didn't bother us once during our 6 days away. Am sure he'd have sent us updates/pix if we'd asked. We found him to be charming, intelligent and really interested in life, and enjoyed staying here taking care of the animals, and watering our greenhouse plants. And of course making sure the place and surrounding land didn't come to any harm.We live very remotely so if there was a fire/problem with the place unattended, we'd be scuppered. We'd recommend him - and of course Dave Price who runs the company professionally and efficiently - very highly to anyone wishing to have a good guardian for their home/pets/animals while they're away. Dave at Home & Housitters did it again, he found us the perfect sitter for our holiday! Bonnie was absolutely amazing. As she was travelling from Wales she arrived the evening before we left which gave us lots of time to get to know her, which was an complete pleasure. Our Mabel took to her instantly and Bonnie was very thorough in asking us lots of questions to ensure she was looking after Mabel exactly as we wanted.Bonnie kept in touch everyday with updates and photos and made us feel totally at ease whilst we were away.Coming home to a pristine home and a very happy dog just made the perfect end to a lovely holiday. We cannot thank Bonnie enough and recommend her strongly to anyone looking for a sitter.

Our first time with House & Home sitters and the first for this particular pet, so we approached it all with a degree of apprehension. Fortunately there was no need to worry. The sitter Jonathan met with all our expectations. He very quickly bonded with our cat - who was very happy and relaxed when we returned home. Dave offers advice and an efficient well managed service. He and Jonathan gave us peace of mind.I will happily use House & Home sitters again.

We recently had a 4 week sit for our 3 dogs ranging from an elderly labrador to a lively 2 year old retriever. Mick and Polli took really good care of our home and the girls and communicated well with us. We returned to 3 happy dogs and a beautifully cleaned bungalow. We would love to have them sit for us again and have no problem recommending them.

Outstanding experience from start to finish! Dave was super helpful when we started the process giving clear instructions. I like the fact that it is a bespoke service where he matches potential sitters for you. We have two VIPs (very important pets) that needed looking after too and Dave found us the perfect sitter in Debbie. She was fantastic and the cats were pampered so much that I think they enjoyed us being away! Regular updates along with videos and photos meant we always felt connected. If you are looking for the best in the business then contact Dave - worth every single penny.

Cannot recommend enough. From initial contact with Dave to finding our house sitter everything was seamless. Bernie our house sitter was lovely, we spoke beforehand and kept in contact over messages, he was great with our 3 animals and house was immaculate when we arrived home. Ian arrived on the Friday before we left and immediately became part of the family. Great messages and photos whilst we were away and came back to a house that was cleaner than when I left it. On our return I bumped into my neighbour who is an extremely fussy dog lover with three of her own. She didn’t ask about my holiday but immediately greeted me with ‘Well your dogs had Rolls Royce treatment when you were away. Ian was so good, you couldn’t have had better’. Well I don’t think there is a better review than that !
